I love the Monaco Grand Prix, but the current cars are far too big. Why not put current F1 drivers in historic F1 cars, like the wonderful machines shown here. What a fantastic spectacle that would be!

This is where I would sit thank you for this vid. Since I can't go to races anymore due to health problems I love this stuff. I think Chicanes ruin racing they treat drivers like little kids.

Why are cars almost never ready to race at arrival ? Why are they coming when they are not ready anyway? So much time in advance between registration months before and the start .

These are race cars and need very high level of maintenance due to parts getting much stress around bumps and curbs on the track. Also the owners like to take them around the world to many different events for the fans to enjoy! The 70s - 80s cars are there today but 2 weeks later will be in Brands Hatch, then Donnington, Zandvoort, Goodwood, Imola etc... No time to thoroughly look through everything as constantly on the go! Replacement parts often get delivered to the pits right before the race! 😁

Yes race cars are like humans, mainly highly stressed and until they wake up one is not sure if they are ready to perform.
