The WEC is expanding once more, and I hope the FIA does not repeat the actions of the 90s, which led to the dismantling of the WEC program because it was seen as a threat to F1.

WEC can't compete with the F1. This is endurance racing and that is a different cooky.

Porsche has manipulated the Race and Ferrari & Cadillac was much faster

As someone else here already pointed out, lovely depiction of the elevation changes! Still not feeling that BMW grill though.

Compared to F1 camera placement, this seems to show the elevation changes a lot more, especially in the Bus Stop. Some of the drivers of the top cars,.. take a few too many risks cutting through traffic.

It has always been this way. When we were racing in IMSA in the U.S. in the 1990s, the top class included Ferrari 333SPs. Meanwhile we were in much, much slower cars - I was in the BMW M3 Lightweight (track only, factory roll cage, no a/c, no rear seats, fire sys, etc). And there were Mustangs and Camaros out there too. The speed difference is dangerous, to be sure. Generally, it was well-managed, but sometimes... not so much.

What a great weekend that was, WEC at his finest 🤩

Tbh they were a little bit more quiet than at the 24h race. Especially the Porsche and the Lamborghini. Corvette, Ford and Lexus are unaible to compare because its the first year for this cars...

I believe Julien Andlauer in the Proton Porsche 963 overtake someone 3 times in EAU ROUGE!!
