I am one of drivers who drive the trucks from race to race. I was in Imola on Sunday and then over to Monaco on Monday. Its complete madness trying to get into Monaco. All trucks park well away from Monaco.

I can imagine the chaos. Must be a logical nightmare for you guys. Makes the Imola paddock look spacious in comparison. I had always heard there was an area for the trucks nearby and that they ferried everything back and forth to the pit through the tunnel under the palace. This was 15-20 years ago when the pit area was much smaller though, so maybe it’s different now. How far away are you? I assume you have to transfer all the cargo to smaller trucks to then get it to the pits.

That’s cool. 😀 I have a friend who did that for Red Bull and Marussia a few times. We were both born in the village where they now make the Mercedes F1 engines. There’s a bit of F1 and other motorsport heritage in that neck of the woods, I mean, our dads used to do banger racing together at Brafield 😂

@seashackf1 All the trucks are parked at a truck stop on the Italian border then taken down and offloaded.

wow...I wonder how long it would take for one of the team buses to get from the frontier to the pit lane. Wonder how that works...do you have someone to accompany you, say on a scooter or something, to negotiate a path?
Great work Esysman, capturing the atmosphere in Monaco ahead of the F1 weekend. 👍👍👏👏👏

A lifelong sailor and F1 fan. I really enjoyed your well blended production. Not surprised, you always do a good job. Have fun!
Back in the day before the current pits were built you could walk through the old pits and get up close to the garages and cars. I also remember in 2005, when the current pits were open, Red Bull had their mechanics dress up as Star Wars ‘Stormtroppers’. We were high up in stand T and had a great view of them. Great memories. The Monaco Grand Prix may not be the best Grand Prix but it is the best Grand Prix to attend. Must get back again soon!!! Thanks for the video and bringing back fantastic memories. 👍👍
As a former oil field "puke" and retired trucker, I'd just like to say that reporting from the port-a-John's in MONACO is a considerable step UP from dropping your "knickers" in the dark, in a blizzard (-40F) in Nowheresville, North Dakota. Take it from me, dear brother, some of us are VERY impressed indeed! 😂❤ Love your channel and enjoy every minute of it!!
The Loon's Captain said in their video this week that it was costing 100,000.00 EUR to moor this GP weekend.

You are correct regarding the fee due to the dock master for dockage during F1. However, the dock master will also advise you that if you want to be on the “front row”, you will need a letter from an F1 team or an F1 sponsor …. Which can be purchased, but that amount is much higher.
It is great to be part of your channel. Great to see how you enjoy it and to experience all this through your eyes. It is so nice. Please let us have the opportunity to keep following in your tracks in Monaco! Many thanks
I worked for Craig Leopold, the owner of LOON, at his first company, Ameritel, in Neenah, Wisconsin. S.C. Johnson was a major client, and through which he met Helen Johnson. After he sold his share of Ameritel, he bought an outdoor products company. Great to see he's doing well.
Porta-potties, generators and "Steve Bannon" ... content GOLD!!! 😂 Always enjoy your diverse, informative content and perspectives. 👍 Thx
On MY Loon live docking video they stated that they will be docking for the entire week. Loon is around 66m and they claim the mooring fee was around €110,000 for the week. They had to apply 12 months in advance and prove they would have a connection to the Grand Prix either hosting a sponsor or a driver. They also stated that Formula 1 takeover the whole harbour hence the prices go through the roof.
I love it when you combine the super yachts with super cars! Cheers mate
Great job. You give your audience the feeling of being there for the event. You and Loon are my favorite channels. Go on board; want to see you guys together.
6:55. Crew totally photo-bombing with the bunny ears. Love it!
Monaco, the Home of Fast Cars, Gorgeous Yachts, and Beautiful People, and E Sysman in the middle of it all, what more can one ask for ??

Same. I can afford it, but the cost/value puts me off. Maybe one day.
I'm now realizing my F1 fascination started years ago watching ESY doing the pre-Monaco walks arounds. Excellent!!
One of my favorite videos up to now. I am a total 110% F1 fan. Thanks so much. Really love it.
Great video! I love F1 and yachts. I've been watching for a couple years and really like it when you include cars and boats. It's been cool watching you grow the channel.
Yay! This weekend will be fun! Thanks for your effort in showing this to all of us!
As an F1 fan I'm not crazy about the race in Monaco, but the boat scenery and the off track activity is always interesting.!
12:56 Fountain Head. Good ole Eddie Lampert. Glad to see Sears going bust didn’t hurt his life style one bit. He claimed to be trying to save it, all the while he was driving it into the ground and selling off its pieces. He made out just fine. What a peach.
Love the behind-the-scenes stuff!!! Thanks for sharing!!
You da man, eSysman!! Brilliant walkthrough the paddock viewing lane and entire presentation! I always enjoy your channel, and have loved F1 for decades, so this was a special treat!
Fascinating video with some very interesting facts, as always, very professionally done 🇬🇧
As always, excellent video! Can't get enough of your videos from Monaco.
Ooh, M/Y Loon 1:23 They live-streamed the docking. Excellent crew, seems to me. They've got a pretty good channel as well.
I DID know about the general size of Monaco. Husband was Navy and his ship spent some time in Monaco. He served as Ships Translator in France and Monaco when the Brass discovered he was fluent in French. And for fellow sailors when they found out he could speak to the locals. He gave several tours on the ship and spent some time in Monaco, coming back with numerous tales of his escapades. He told me quite a bit about Monaco, including its size.
Standard Grand Prix schedule is Media Day Thursday, Free Practice 1 & 2 on Friday, Free Practice 3 and Qualifying on Saturday, Grand Prix race on Sunday, OR on "Sprint Weekends" it's Media Day Thursday, FP1 & Sprint Qualifying Friday, Sprint Shootout & GP Qualifying Saturday, Grand Prix race on Sunday. Monaco used to have a "special" schedule with Media Day Wednesday, FP1/FP2 Thursday, (day off Friday), FP3/Qualifying Saturday, Grand Prix race on Sunday, but the schedule has reverted to the standard schedule.
Excellent pre-race preview. Thanks so much for covering the Monaco Grand Prix for those of us unable to attend.
absolutely the best and informing videos, I like how you go were no one else will go, and give us the viewers a back door and lay mans look. I watch all your videos start to finish, and enjoy your insights , and knowledge of places and Yachting world. Great job. I always like your motoring info and videos. Excellent mix.
Behind the scenes fun. Thank You.
Fabulous fabulous fabulous, a treasure trove of information. Its not about the Race, but the display of Wealth. Brilliant.
Great show! Thanks for the insight. Keep up the awesome work.
I ALWAYS enjoy your demeaner and descriptions.
Thank you for making this video. I´m fascinated by Monaco and your video and the information you share give a fine perspective of the reality of what this principality is all about.
Great Video and thanks for all that information on the city and race....
Extremely well blended and informative video
Another outstanding video. Good to see Loon too. Thank you.
Beyond just yatchs, this is a top class video about Monaco! It sets a high standard
You should talk to Captain Paul and do a tour of the Loon! Love to see that!
Another great video. Thanks!
Great little video Timely, informative, friendly
Very interesting mate 😁👍🏴
Great video, as usual! And let's face it, Monaco is the Crown Jewel that it is, because it was THE original grand prix race - the organization did not even exist when it was first held in 1929. On top of which, it is the only race where wealthy people can watch the event from their own balcony, or better yet, the aft deck of their own superyacht. And of course, like everything else about Monaco, it certainly has a unique mystique about it, doesn't it? Geoff Rohde
Love the mix, F1, yachts and Monaco. Wish I was there...
Very informative, thank you.

I was in Monaco one time in the mid-80's and wanted to do 2 things, see Princess Grace grave site and walk the entire Grand Prix course..... I did both ! Love the place (to visit as long as you have a ship waiting for you to eat and sleep in every night) !
