I call Mon Guerlain "the modern Shalimar" not because of the popularity it cannot hope to match (by that standard, I think Baccarat Rouge 540 already claimed that title) but because of its sense of familiarity within the house and my comfort while wearing it. Like Shalimar, Mon Guerlain stems from Jicky, whose reinterpreted bottle gave it such a distinct new feeling withing the fragrances launched lately. Alas, rumours have it that Mon Guerlain will take its place among Les Légendaires in the coer reverse bottle and sadly, only the Eau de Parfum will make it. This prompted me to get Mon Guerlain Eau de Parfum Intense and today we're comparing it to the Eau de Toilette, Mon Exclusif and other possible relatives, all within the familiar territory of Guerlain.

Wow, reducing this whole line to 1 legendaire bottle?? 😮 Now I feel I should get my Mon Guerlain bottle before a possible reformulation. I kinda ignored it so far but it is a beautiful, easy-to-wear scent!

I have also Mon Exclusif, I prefer it to Mon Guerlain EDP. My opinion is that Guerlain is becoming more a ,,commercial" perfumery brand, ..... we are still lucky to have Vol de Nuit, Shalimar, etc.

Well, Mon Exclusif is very smooth compared to Mon Guerlain EDP, to be sure

I have Mon Guerlain edp and it is such a beautiful scent, calming and chic. I am now interested in trying the edt and intense! ☺️
