Too much hating on the EDT! I have all three of them; and honestly, the EDT has the best projection and longevity of the three. 🤷 The Parfum has the best opening; but the dry down is no better than the EDP.

Hello girl, don't you know why they stopped selling Bleu De Chanel Paris Parfum Pour Homme? Or do you know if they changed the name to just Parfum?

I love the light/ Fresh sent of the original. So easy to wear, and perfect for anytime, casual use. The EDP and Parfum I would use for special occasions (more formal). Just my preference

For the lightness I would go for Versace pour homme. EDP/Parfum are amazing for a little more dense, rounded, smooth fragrance

THANK YOU MONIKA! I've never actually owned any BDC of all the things I've bought and when my wife finally gave it a try at our Ulta she loved it. My problem is I couldn't remember which version it was! When we went back the tester was gone so I was lost 😔. This helps a lot though. I'm tempted to just buy the EDT and EDP both in the 5oz because I loved them both. The parfum was just too smooth and subdued for me. Thanks again!

I have both EDT and parfum. Both are great. I prefer parfum for its richness and creaminess.

After several days of testing, I couldn't agree more with you. The class and character of parfum is unmatched to the rest!

The edt is what made me fall in love with BDC. I love all of them quite frankly but the edp and parfum are much deeper and richer and are more versatile.

I live in Cancún. And the weather is basically warm all year long…that’s my main reason to choose the EDP over the Parfum…Love Bleu de Chanel

I bought the parfum first when i knew little about fragrances and didn’t like it too much. Got EDT couple months later and fell in love with it. Got EDP half year later and liked it so much better it became my all time till now.

Omg, just came across this Channel so randomly.. But, this girl is absolutely adorable. Like, I legit want to hug her.

Your point about how you use it is important…I have smelled all and have only the EDT. When I grab BDC, I want something fresh and easy to smell (car trips, meetings, and planes) and if/when someone asks, you can say it’s Chanel. For sweet and rich in colder months, there are way too many great scents available, for me to grab any Chanel.

EDP is a year-round scent for me. I use Parum for special occasions. EDP is perfectly balanced. Parfum is on the heavy side.

I agree here. I sprayed only 2 sprays of the parfum and my wife said good lord did you use the whole bottle of cologne. I said no 2 sprays. Your choking the whole room out. I said does it stink? She said no but it's overpowering

I live in Costa Rica where the weather is warmer so I own the EDT concentration. It's nothing ground breaking but it works well on me for those extreme hot days.

EDT is my favorite because it's sweet and sexy. I accidentally ordered EDP & it's more masculine or business smelling to me. I genuinely like the lighter fruity flavor or business suit smell.

I absolutely agree with you. Edt was one of the first blue fragrances, but nowadays there are a lot of alternatives, most of them are cheaper. IMO, if Edp is a nice cake, Parfum is the same cake covered with cream. And if you're over 40, it's definitely more suitable. Nice presentation, wonderful opinions, thanks.

To me, the Parfum is a different fragrance than the EDP. I have both, and must say the EDP is more versatile. Parfum only for more formal occasions, but only lasts 2-3 hrs for me.

The edp and parfum are definitely year round fragrances but I feel the parfum leans cooler weather and edp leans warmer. Both brilliant 👏

I’d say the edt wasn’t the first Bleu de chanel she experienced, She may have smelt the parfum version first.

EDP is my favorite scent of the 3.

I have all 3, just recently got parfum de 5.0 oz for me all are great. Greetings from México.

I just tried all of it range just now, i must say i like the edp version at first, but after go for Parfum...Wow this is the one! Unbelievably smells way better and absolutely fantastic! Much fresher, cleaner, soft but predominant... This is the one...Ultimately! Just wow me....

After getting a sample of EDT and EDP, a year ago, watching your video just now, as well as reading some comments, I pulled the cord and just now ordered the Parfum from the Chanel website. I also wanted to get the EDP, but both of them were a bit more than I wanted to spend. I also thought about layering an EDT with a Parfum, or an EDP but never heard anything about how that would work out until I read some comments here about it, and that it works well, so I might eventually try that. Thanks for all the info.

I’m a YSL L’Homme and La Nuit De L’Homme kind of guy, but Bleu De Chanel EDT is the most high value fragrance in my collection. It’s a such a banger and longevity is great being a EDT. If I only have one fragrance it would hands be the EDT due to value, longevity, and being so well rounded.

I’ve only tried the EDT. I bought a bottle in 2015. I loved the scent. Performance was just average though. I just ordered the EDP directly from Chanel. I’m excited to try it. I know I will love it since I already love the original EDT scent. Maybe in the future I’ll try the Parfum too. I also have Platinum Egoist and Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême. They are all great fragrances.

EDT for me, it's in my opinion the Royal Crown of the Blue fragances, very elegant but at the same time pretty versatile, not cheap AT ALL. Meanwhile EDP or Parfum are pretty good, but they are just too solemn fragances to be called "blue"; in formal events I just prefer to use a different thing instead a "serious" version of Bleu de Chanel. totally agree, EDT is just more classic, sophisticated and versatile.

EDT and Parfum combined are heavenly. EDT is brighter, attention grabbing goodness that is magnetic. As you get closer to the wearer, you begin to experience the depth and elegance of the Parfum. Especially if applied to the right areas, as it settles onto your skin, It becomes like a warm blanket that you want to wrap yourself around. Whether its your first encounter, or a longer romance, it is a scent that you do not forget. A signature scent well worth the price of admission.

I love chanel fragrances for men! Have exactly the same opinion on the 3 bleu de chanel. Beside them i love the whole allure line.. for me the best fragrances they smell expensive, refined, are mass pleasing and unique at the same time

The edp has the best of both fresh and dense I get about 6 hrs but still lingers on clothes after and I put parfume Leyton on to blend omg in heaven lol xx

For me, I prefer the EDT. All.the versions are great but I love the freshness of the EDT. It is great for the spring and summer. I prefer grabbing Eros Flame and Spicebomb Extreme for the colder weather.

Yeah, the Parfum is probably a little too heavy for really hot days, but it's definitely the overall best out of the lineup.

I own the Parfum and I love how it just lingers and lingers all day. Your nose won’t get the full effect if you’re testing in store. Spray it on yourself and let it cook on your skin. Super versatile, put together, and so sexy! CEO vibes all the way or if you just want to own a meeting with that confidence!

I kid you not, but Blue de Chanel has somewhat of a magical effect when you are hosting meetings or presentations. You just cruise on them so well when you're wearing it. The parfum is a favourite, but edp is also has an nice fresher touch compared to the bolder touch of parfum. But both are amazing

Mostly,I love parfum Bleu de chanel coz this accord brings me happy everytime and I love the vibes of lavender, lemon & pineapple.❤😇

One thing which is interesting is that I recently bought bleu de chanel edt,I wasn't supposed to buy the edt I was meant to buy the parfum because it was nice ,the sales woman told me all the price ranges but at home before going to buy I became confused about the price I became stunned when I got to the store by how expensive the parfum was. I tested the edt it was nice I liked it but little did I know that edt was the least liked on KZread fragrance community because I didn't have bleu de chanel so I never noticed there was a difference in the way people liked the three bleus,I only realized after I bought the edt and I liked the edt when I purchased it especially when I saw how cheap it was for a chanel,so I felt like I wasted money buying it after I saw how people gravitated towards others over mine,and I still like it,edp I'll purchase later in the year when the money is right.I guess you have to start somewhere.

I say EDP over Parfum! I get less compliments with Parfum as it’s more heavy.

EDP is in the middle, but not fresh enough for the summer and not deep/dense enough for the winter, so I went with the two ends.. parfum for the cold and edt for the heat.. perhaps edp would suit better than both in cool and mild weather, so maybe all three are necessary for the four seasons 😆… oh and perhaps there should be some sport or summer version for the extreme heat

The character is amped up in the edp and parfum. That unique bleu de chanel character is what she is talking about. It's more deep in the others where It's lighter in the edt.

Yeah, layering is great and a new way to get your own signature scent. Start with similar scents from the same house or mix the edt and edp of the same cologne.

I have the EDP and I really enjoy it. However I recently tried the Parfum and fell in love. It is so balanced IMO. I love the creaminess of it. It is airy without any loss in its density, if that makes any sense. To me the Parfum is a perfect 10/10. It is a bit sweeter, but that sweetness is not out of place. It’s like an expertly crafted set of high-end headphones. It does everything well. The only other fragrance I rated a 10 is Sauvage Elixir, but that is a different beast. :)

Mate , is about Performance as well. It doesnt matter that smells good if fades Away after 2-3hours (Im talking ab perfume)

I'd say instead of bleu edp go for ferragamo f black, smell similar but f black has more projection and great performance

For me BDC Parfum performed the best on my skin. Fresh, Clean, Elegant smelling fragrance. The sillage will leave people wondering who is wearing that! 🌹🌹⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Parfum is my fave-hands down.

From Miami here. EDP is the way here because we go heavyweight with the blue fragrances here.

I live in Florida, I went with the EDT.

EDP smells only slightly more citrusy in the opening. Parfum smells amazing even until the last dry down. Dry down is where Parfum significantly separates itself.

I've had all versions and by far the parfum version is the best! I got so many compliments when I wore the parfum, the edp is ok and got half the compliments and doesn't last as long or isn't as strong as the parfum, Take my advice if you want the best version of bdc get the parfum!

@@EemMiIiLlLl All of today's fragrances even the biggest brands like Chanel have reformulated all of their fragrances to be weaker so they can make more money it takes atleast 14 sprays to be smelled from more than 3 feet away

I just bought BDC EDP and my concern is it didn't project well and the fragrance didn't last long. My officemates can't smell it unless I told them to come close to me and smell my shirt. And in my skin it only lasts for about an hour and 3-5 hrs when I spray it on my shirt. Did I spray it wrong? Or did I buy a fake? I tried spraying 5x on my shirt and it lasts for 6hrs but you can't smell it unless you come and smell the portion purposely. I've watch videos of fake and real but my bottle seems to be legit.

Pra mim o EDT é o melhor! Foi o que deu início a toda lenda e magia em torno dessa fragrância, é atemporal, podem passar mais 20 anos e o BDC EDT vai ser super atual. Além de tudo isso, ele combina com tudo, dia, noite, dias frios, quentes, ocasiões formais e informais. É definitivamente um verdadeiro perfume de assinatura. E EDP também é incrível, porém é mais romântico, eu diria que é pra encontros e ocasiões especiais.

I’m old school and getting back into colognes after decades of folks not into colognes. So I’m learning what I missed in the last few decades and just tried an old sample of BDC and it smells incredible. But now it seems different houses are now making differ versions of their hit cologne and makes it more complicated. Vs just buying the one cologne with the same name.

To me Parfum is just to smooth. Edp is to much powdery smell.

Love the EDP. So good. It's like a darker version of Allure Homme Sport Extreme.

Nope. Parfum.

I Only know dupes of BdC. Because the original is too expensive for me. But I Like that citric/Mint Touch in the beginning. Where are the differences between These 3 fragrances?

I prefer edt. I just let it macerate for a bit.
