I had a top secret clearance and I didn't have to go through any board. Massive background check and an interview with 1 person and that was it.

Great vid, im leaving in may and i cant wait! Quick question, im going in as AECF as well and really want FC. Did you have to option to get FC or ET or do they assign you what one you get?

Nope you don't get to choose. Week 6 you'll get your orders telling you where you're going and it will have your assigned rate attached to it.

+Jasper Edwards utilize open learning and seminars. Don't underestimate week two oh, and don't be afraid to ask you instructor questions. If you ever feel lost or unsure ask.

Will they find out later on when conducting security clearance??

Background checks are used to find criminal history and credit history. As long as you have never been convicted of a crime as an adult, or aren't in severe debt, your Background check should be clean.

I leave monday for boot, I thought they were issuing the green cammies now? Also any tips for my next 6 days here. To maybe help out my bootcamp experience?

@@bcb2237 I haven't joined yet because I decided to get a bachelors for officer school. But if you can get 30 university credits and go to Texas and make a homeschool transcript you can join any military branch legally, why? Because Texas is one of the states with the most lenient laws for homeschoolers legitimacy. Plus if you claim this the and if they do check records, the record keeper would be your parents and parents will do any for their kids, so keep that in mind. I'm not suggesting anything just stating facts ✌🏽✌🏽

@@bcb2237 or so nobody has to worry about any legalities on joining, apply for FAFSA, get an online regionally accredited bachelor's degree and then you can join even them knowing you never graduated high school, why?, because every university accepts people without high-school diplomas as long as you can pass the entrance exam which is really easy if it's online and your good to go 100% legally without having a high school diploma, the only downside is that you can't get FAFSA from the government without a high school diploma or homeschool transcripts
