Asking for a friend
Did you join on disability,?
No. You can not join if you are legally disabled or on Disability
Can I join with a epi pen for be stings
Yes! I have a few friends that carry around an Epipen for the same thing!
Good gig
Thank you!
Thank you for your service, my brother! I hope you live a long, healthy and happy life.
Thank you for your support!
@@EjNappe No doubt. We appreciate you
Do they look through social media? Like youtube, reddit, discord, etc…?
It's not usual to do so, but it's always possible. Best practice is to keep your profile on private. Most of the investigation consists of background checks and interviewing friends and family to determine your moral character.
I heard the other once u strike a job u get to E4
It depends on if you want to extend. Typically Auto E-4 requires a 2 year extension, with out it you will need to wait for time in rate.
I have a very important question, so I did JROTC for 2 years in high school, and I also have technical college credit because I did exactly $1,080 hour, I wonder if I will go in as an E-2 or an E-3
You'll need the minimum of an Associates degree.
Thank you EJ
Thank you!
😂😂
Thank you!
My recruiting station is very small
i understand that, mine only had about 6 of us in DEP with 2 recruiters.
Awesome job
Do i need to do more math and school subjects in boot camp? Thank you for the Video btw, i appreciate it.
No. All classes in boot camp are directly related to the navy. Depending on your Rate you may need to do some Math in A School
Go for it
Good luck brother!
Thank you! Sorry for the late response, the new ship was a wild experience. I'll tell you all about it soon.
I was there in 77 and 82 FTG school great time
Thank you for your Service.
Hi, just found you on KZread. I was in marine 2 years ago and now apply for Navy Dive. Do you need to do waiver again for that ? Do you know how long it take to get approved by waiver and I will be 30 this November. Thanks
From my understanding yes, every branch has specific requirements. Good luck!
Thanks for the video. Now I know more about security clearances and am better prepared to handle one.
You're absolutely welcome!
Im about to be TAD in the barge and confused on what i will be doing
I've been there, its pretty much the same thing you'd do on the ship.
Undesignated is trash. It’s a slave labor jail sentence. U learn nothing n take nothing back to civilian life
👉 𝓅𝓇o𝓂o𝓈𝓂
He said them wrong
It's gotten me by 7 years in the Navy!
Being in the Navy. Being on a ship is depressing. Idk how people do it.
It’s what you make of it to be honest. A lot of people I know loved deployment and want to be deployed again, whatever you make of it :)
i agree with JoJo, its all about what you make of it.
Been following you since before you first shipped out. Glad to see that you’re doing well and staying positive. Looking forward to seeing you continue to grow as a leader.
Thank you!
I have 3 days to get this. thank you
I need one for going to a mental hospital when I was 15🤦🏽♂️ never took meds or anything but hopefully I get in .
@@Tlrs009 no I was disqualified:(
@@iamzhonte how do u know u were disqualified did your recruiters tell u? And how long did it take for u to hear back from them after your waiver was submitted
How did they tell you ?
In the navy grinding their is no grinding unless you are in special warfare keep lieing to your self
You never been to the fleet you don't know if their good or bad guys like you that have been in 9 months and think you know it all are the guys the old guys kick the shit out of bc you think you are a know it all
At this point you had been the navy 9 months you didn't know shit ...but if you went to damnnec VA you are going to be around the big dogs the seal
My issue is. I formerly (Less than 6 months ago) smoked Marijuana and would be considered a frequent user. Could I still get a TS with that being the case or waiting 6 month etc if that is a thing?
As long as with glasses your vision is corrected to 20/20 I don't know why they care
Nice to see you back. Nice chill video on a cool trail. Need to get back out there and have some fun. Snow wheeling!
I miss wheeling on some soft packed snow. Brings back some good memories! Glad you enjoyed the video.
Wanna ask would they have a waiver for nerve condition or nerve damage
As long as the Nerve Damage doesn't affect mobility or your ability to do normal things you might be fine. The best thing you can do is contact a recruiter.
Does the navy pay that good ?
As an E-5 with 4 years of service and BAH, I take home between 40-70k a year depending on taxes and other pay incentives.
How did you afford this ??
Smart spending, a great credit score, and smart savings.
Will they find out later on when conducting security clearance??
Background checks are used to find criminal history and credit history. As long as you have never been convicted of a crime as an adult, or aren't in severe debt, your Background check should be clean.
my dad (Vietnam vet} went to gunners mate school great lakes in 81-82 made Chief in 83 when he was 31, winter sucks there, fishing is great on the jetty, didn't miss that place after being stationed at Vancouver WA, and moved to San Diego , CA perm
Great Lakes is definitely an adventure, and definitely not on my list of places to go back to!
Well if i had the choice of a phalanx or goalkeeper i take the latter .
Phalanx will always be my baby.
I’m going to MEPS tomorrow and qualify and want to do MA. But the problem is I have hearing loss in my left ear. I was wondering if SPACT could possibly increase my chances of getting MA while in the Navy. I sign my contract tomorrow and stuff I’m just worried MA won’t be there despite me qualifying.
My friend had hearing loss and he was a pact seamen, they told him as a pact seamen you need can’t have bad hearing so they gave him the open rate Logistics Specialist in boot camp. I suggest not choosing Pact seamen, I heard bad things about it and I am Pact seamen aswell
@@dilleonjackson I actually managed to qualify for MA without having to do SPACT, i shipout January 27th. Thanks for the response though.
I didn't know Rick Moranis is in the Navy
🤷♂️
So if I sign up they don’t drug test till I touch at boot camp
No. You will get tested at MEPS during processing.
@@EjNappe will they look at you while you pee
Thanks for being in the service. Wish you saw the amount of my peers that picked on me back in HS. That said...someone I met who's also in the Navy, every time he walks past me it's difficult not to smile but he's never noticed. This woman that also serves, it is difficult to tell if they're together or if when he smiles the way he does at me if it means what I think it means...always hopeful though. TY again!
I'm glad you found my videos enjoyable.
@@EjNappe Well considering what took place just a couple years ago...very helpful/calming.
@@EjNappe Just realized you're the good looking one I enjoyed watching.
@@EjNappe Please help me out, to the best of your knowledge, me technically speaking I'm not gay, but I've never had a girl, is shameful in my part, will I be able to survive as a sailor or you think ill be going through some unwanted issues with my peers?
Is it true that the service commitment is 3 years
The length of your contract is determined by what job you sign for. The navy offers 3, 4, and 6 year contracts depending on your rate. If most 3 contracts are through the PACT Seaman program.
They can force me out the fuckin navy, no way I’m taking it lol
Absurd
😶
Hilarious! If I shared this in one of my Fleet groups.. They would beat Me up. 😆
do you have to pass these to graduate boot
Yes. If you don't you may be held back, or if you fail multiple times you will be discharged. The tests aren't difficult though so don't stress
Do they still do the "Yellow Book, ie transistor theory"... Vet FC's know what I am talking about...
