My husband is 1000 % Team ME in any situation... I hate that her husband seems more concerned about resolving generational issues for their child instead of resolving years of toxic treatment to his wife from her own mother. Sometimes breaking generational curses is removing the person that remains toxic while you become your best self. And her Mother is selfish, dismissive and a disgusting person.

One thing the mom said caught my attention ...she said so many people around her offered her a kidney with the exception of her daughter. Is this why she is finally having a hard time that their relationship hasn't healed....or is it she truly wants the relationship with her daughter. Take accountability...she was a horrible mother....nothing can fix that but accountability, asking for forgiveness and to not have expectations of her daughter she couldn't fulfill as a mother.

Maybe a lot people don’t realize this, but when some people are addicts and on drugs getting high, they sometimes do forget things. Sometimes they really don’t recall certain conversations or events amongst other things. I say this bcuz me and my mother had a looong talk about our past. And she said she didn’t realize or remember a lot of things I brought to her. However, she did acknowledge it and apologized. And guess what? WE LEFT IT RIGHT THERE AND MOVED FORWARD IN LOVE! Every conversation afterwards wasn’t the best, but it never went backwards.

We all need to remember parents are human too and we only get to see edited snippets of what these people have experienced. We don't know if the daughter has rejected the mother in recent history. I wouldn't embrace my daughter either if she was angry and aggressive. I would wait until she was calm and only if it was OK with her. I wouldn't hug her just to "prove" something to an audience. Her mother told her she would show her she would work on the relationship. Unfortunately, these days people love to judge situations until they experience the other side themselves.

I dont condone cheating and there is never any excuse good enough for cheating especially with friends of your mate. 39 and 24 means he was 35 and she was 19 and most likely just turned 19 as in just made legal to get in the club but not even legal to buy alcohol. She was finally free and on her own aint no way he thought she was going to sit at home. He needed someone to take care of his other kids and someone he could control. Someone old enough to take care of his kids but young enough to brainwash so he can continue to do what he wanted to do out in the streets while she sat at home being a mom before she was even a mom. The gag is she was up for playing his game and pulled a him on him. They both have done wrong. Her letting her friend drive his car especially being male was way out of line but what he was doing was way beyond the line. Being on dating sites and paying for sex AND sleeping with her bestfriend. Being a bartender does not mean she was cheating if people are going to cheat they are going to cheat no matter what job they have look at him. He should have been teaching/showing her better and teaching her the ropes of life not using it against her.

The mother’s language alone was enough to draw conclusions about her and her narcissism. When she was using, the drugs took over. When she admit to beating her she said she beats everyone. In the beginning, she said she didn’t do anything and then goes on to say that the daughter should forgive her. Forgive her for what then? My heart goes out to the daughter fr. The mother doesn’t really take full accountability for her actions and it’s unfortunate…her favourite word. Her husband as well didn’t even really seem to care more about her but instead their child. He said he loves them both but how could you love the woman that is actively abusing your wife? That poor woman’s inner child doesn’t seem like it’s healing anytime soon unfortunately. I also find it very insincere when the abuser does not even care to speak in their own words and repeats Karamo’s words completely.

The mother is literally taking full accountability. It seems like the daughter wants the past erased and the mom cant do that. Even her agreeing with Karamo, shes trying to gove the daughter what shes asking for. Its like the daughter will ask why and then when the mother explains why, the daughter relives it all over again as if the mom is doing it all over again but shes not. In this case the daughter has to come to acceptance that these things happened in didnt deserve it, its in the past and move forward. She needs to literally change her mind about her mother to what she would like for her mother to be in her life.

The mother admitted to doing wrong, and not being a good mother, and wants reconciliation, but the daughter is holding grudges and is too hurt to forgive. But she must forgive to get passe it all. God wants us to forgive and to honor our parents also.

The mother could have acknowledge and apologized to her daughter. Nothing she could do to change her daughters past but she is responsible! I think she had good intentions to leave her daughter to complete school but she should've listened! Praying the the daughter is able to forgive her and let go of her past. Praying for this family! The husband clearly wants better but he probably tired telling his wife to forgive maybe he thinks she may never forgive so he past that! ❤

I can clearly see things from both perspectives.. I completely understand where the daughter is coming from and why she feels the way she feels but it’s definitely a “Spiritual Warfare” going on within the “Schizophrenia” community and for people who experienced early childhood trauma/neglect etc, they will experience an Intense “Awakening Of The Soul” from “Narcissism” that completely destroys the old ego/self and replaces it with their natural born self between the ages of 39-45.. They then will become more apologetic, empathetic, ambitious, closer to God and more forgiving versus holding a grudge. Others who were born with more genetic traits seem to inherit “Narcissistic Personality Disorder”, Comorbid with other Personality Disorders and Mental Disorders. I said that to say, her mom probably had early childhood trauma herself and unknowingly inflicted it on her kids. The moms story sounds very similar to someone I know who grow up with unhealthy behaviors and she also was trying to pursue a rap career but it never went anywhere and she couldn’t keep a job. She is now in her mid forties and she is “NOTHING” like she was when I last seen her a few years ago 💯!! One of my Besties never had a good relationship with her mother, my Bestie also couldn’t keep a job etc, and was always down on her luck and now they both are the best of friends! It’s truly a blessing because sometimes people feel like they are stuck the way they are for life only to find out that their troubles and pain wasn’t going to last always and God actually had bigger and better plans for them that they NEVER seen coming.. I hope and pray that this was the mother’s experience as it seems like it is! Now it’s time for mom to continue to accept the painful reality that her behaviors during those dark times had a negative effect on her daughter and probably her other kids. I pray they can get the therapy they need to have a better relationship🙏🏾🙏🏾
