First heard this track in my scruffy little flat in Chester uk when the album came out. It blew my mind, I had never heard anything like it before. My pal said to me "you will not be listening to this music when you are 30".. Well here I am 73, still listening to Neil Young and listening to this brilliant version of a legendary song.

No way that Neil Young ever thought it possible for this song to sound this damn good!
Everything Neil intended this song to be, Molly and band brought out.

Such a tasteful solo...what a musician! It fit the song so well...she's capable of absolutely ripping, but (to me) the restraint and note choice here demonstrate just how much she feels this song. Great rendition!
This is my FAVORITE Neil Young song, I am 74 and grooved to it in my teens in the 60’s. Great job on the vocal and the accompaniment just a good testament to Neil.

78 here and remember that song well....I have a Neil Young fan from his early beginnings with Buffalo Springfield. I have been a fan Of Molly since her Rise release, she is so talented! This is the best cover I have heard of Neil's Helpless.
Molly’s rhythm playing here is so dynamic! This is how you illuminate a song. Wow.
Obviously, she's a great guitarist, but listen to her voice. She is an exceptional singer too!
Molly knocked this out of the park. You are so good. Probably better than you know. One of my favorites.
This is an excellent, moving version of the Neil Young classic. Thanks, Molly!
This band was made to do this song. Molly absolutely owns the guitar. Just awesome.
What a voice, what a song - and we can listen and see it for free, doesn't seem right...
That's some of the smoothest acoustic soloing i've ever saw.
Lucky to see her play Helpless solo in a bar in London.
What a lovely girl and voice! Says Gold Rush Drummer in Las Vegas's Premier Neil Young Tribute Band!
This is one of the songs that defined my teenage years. Wistful and lonesome, but still very soothing and cathartic. Molly really expresses the mood of this piece and the guys are true to it as well. Many of Neil's songs have a timeless quality and may remain relevant for many generations to come.

As a die hard Neil Young fan who bought his first 45 years many many years ago, this song has accompanied me on many adventures and good times. So good to hear you play it. Heart of Gold.
Molly Tuttle always seems to make the right choices rhythmically. She is a bad ass rhythmatist, as demonstrated here. She always nails tempos too. She pays attention to the right stuff. I'm endlessly impressed.
I've heard many covers of that excellent Neil Young composition, Molly's is the best, really a great performance.
Molly's covers are mind boggling. (And man can those guys sing!)
So underrated, She's a gem.
I only heard Molly for the first time just yesterday, a cover of She's a Rainbow. I can't think when I've been so moved by an artist, any artist of any kind, the piercing soulfulness... alacrity, love.
I do like minimalism in my music, and I like Molly Tuttle as a 'traditional' vocalist. So I give this one two upvotes.
DAMN, but this is a gorgeous rendition. I'm ashamed that I didn't know Molly Tuttle until now: her voice and guitar playing are heaven-sent, and she definitely knows how to make a song her own. Brava, Ms. Tuttle, bravi to the group.
Molly Tuttle's cover of this song really woke me up to the meaning of this tune for me. I'm 60 years old, and after living almost 31 years on my farm in northern Wisconsin, my reasons to stay here, wrong or right, have always been greatly influenced by this concept..."all my changes were there." I was a young city boy back then. My wife, my kids didn't exist for me at that time, but they do now. The beauty, the familiarity, the belonging... all have thrown shadows on my eyes to make a decision to leave. Thank you, Molly

One great song played by some fine musicians. Thanks a bunch Molly. I can't decide which one is best, if your singing or your guitar playing. As it even matters. You are the whole package. Man, what a gift for the ears and for the brain.
Neil Young is one of my favorite musical artists of all time, and I’ve always loved this song. Yet, with all do respect to Neil and his incredible recording of his song...I believe this version is now my favorite.
Beautiful - sat here in my kitchen and just had to sing along.
i actually am at a loss for anything that would even remotely do justice to her rendition of one of my favorite young songs. if angels could sing this is what they'd sound like.
Since a few weeks I'm 60 y.o. I've heard a lot; Neil Young, Jackson Brown, Joni Mitchell, Boni Rait, Linda Ronstadt, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, you name it. But this ....is so good... it's so powerfull, pure redemption

This is a great performance - thanks for posting. 5 string violin strummed and bowed and drummer who played only snare with brushes and a towel to damp. This is not your average band. I loved Molly dearly but there is enough talent to share some respect.
Absolutely beautiful.
Wow an Orville tee. Thank you Molly, very enjoyable.
She is the sweetest. Beautiful talent. I love her so much.
I came for her guitar playing. I stayed for her voice. Wow what a talent!!!
Such a great moody rendition. The drummer is there just chillin and a bit odd and setting the mood. He's cool. Fiddle guy is there being so competent but like when is my solo? He does kill it when it comes though. Bass guy is so solid and knows it and is glad to be there. Molly is amazing. More than amazing.
