wow I used to think this song was hard. Then i learned Arpeggios, artificial harmonics, ricochets and left hand pizzecato and know I see how crucial learning advanced techniques is to playing songs like this. This song is like a gateway to advanced violin pieces, I can see why its called infant paganini and the boy paganini lol. It all makes sense now!

@The Rich Series This is a real beginner piece. When you get better you will appreciate that and thank me for the advice. I advise you go to study something like the Brahm's concerto or the Bruch. They have a lot more depth than this.

@The Rich Series Exactly, school students. It means nothing . Proper musicians would not bother with student pieces like this. It seems you are at quite a low level to make such a comment. Maybe discuss the concept on one of your videos. There, that's a constructive feedback to help you build your channel. You could entitle it "Why beginner musicians should know their place." Or something like that.

In my 17 years of violin playing, which was decades ago, I never encountered left-hand pizzicato until today, in my lesson when I got this piece. So wonderful to be able to Google a piece and find it on the web. The Internet is fabulous!

@@delilah_46793 Julliard is perhaps the best music conservatory in the entire US. Curtis is a close second and more selective than Harvard. Your teacher is either really wealthy or really good at violin. except your teacher can't sightread Reality is breaking bruhhh

I also think that it is not hard. This kind of pieces are an excellent preparation to the authentic Paganini or Mozart or Vivaldi pieces, this "in the style of sb. famous composer" pieces are probably written of violin teachers for their pupils. They are surely more funny than some kinds of studies (etudes) and musically even more effective. Exceptionally Mazas's studies, which are more musical than the others, for younger kids these for two violins.

i tried tasting dark rosin and surprisingly it tastes how it smells like a hint f pine tree, mint and soap mixed together. So if you ever wondered what rosin smells like then there you go. And im pretty sure im not dying yet.

No, they represent the fingerings you should use (and wether or wether not to play harmonic and the position you should play in).

First two bars are O Canada, the third sounds like Wacht am Rhein, after that it sounds like Marchia Real
