@ApplepieFTW
7 жыл бұрын
sleeping clari put your first finger on a note (make sure it's in tune), then, use your fourth finger and place it further up the string. the positioning of that highest finger is key. you're basically shortening the string in a way that's different to just playing a regular note. if you're playing a note that's an open string, you can use just one finger. that would be a very rough explanation of how it's done, but that doesn't teach how to do it of course. look up "(artificial) harmonics violin" or "flageolet violin". fyi, it's extremely hard!

I actually preferred the Miss America performance, it had a brash pizazz I enjoyed - but then I'm a pianist - what would I know? All violins sound like screeching to me!
@etc4725
4 жыл бұрын
Im a violinist and all i do is screech Anyway just to explain idk if youre kidding lol but the ms america version was the most out of tune thing ive heard in my entire existence, her sound quality was very questionable, her _violin's_ quality and state were very questionable. If youre a pianist, think a nine year old (not prodigy heh) playing--uh--winter wind after practicing for only a week. On an old, out of tune, sticky keyed piano. Thats basically how it sounds to us. (But if you like brash pizzaz and want more music then id suggest david garrett or something; he actually knows how to play well)
@Killerbee4712
4 жыл бұрын
What the hell, if your a pianist surely you can identify the numerous, and I mean numerous flaws and mistakes. Off notation, incorrect rhythm, terrible phrasing, bad intonation, s c r e e c h y, she didnt even come in with the pianist on time! This at least has all that, plus a couple extra style points for almost pin-point intonation. what the hell man

3:08 RIP my ears but apart from that almost perfect job
who came after the miss mississippi performance
only people who can play like this can do criticism on hannah roberts.
He played with a lot of gusto, but I prefer Midori's rendition.
Ling Ling can learn this in 40 milliseconds.

I actually preferred the Miss America performance, it had a brash pizazz I enjoyed - but then I'm a pianist - what would I know? All violins sound like screeching to me!

What the hell, if your a pianist surely you can identify the numerous, and I mean numerous flaws and mistakes. Off notation, incorrect rhythm, terrible phrasing, bad intonation, s c r e e c h y, she didnt even come in with the pianist on time! This at least has all that, plus a couple extra style points for almost pin-point intonation. what the hell man
I hate that I'm not here because of TwoSet
The girls ruined this piece like the twosetter ruined this comment section 😂
Y pensar que vine aquí a comparar con la audición de Miss Mississippi...
Orgasme. Musical. Évidemment.
SALSA
The recording sound not ideal
lmao what
The harmonics sound... a bit rushed through. Sadly.
