    I know how to do this I just need to know how to do it in a regular calculatur like what buttons I should press to correctly solve a problem

    Always use the EE key on your calculator when typing in scientific notation. NEVER use the 10x key (antilog) or the exponent key (caret) for scientific notation. On some of my other videos, I use a more basic scientific calculator. so you could check those out.

    Hi, cant you just put the grams of dinitrogen hexaiodide over 6.02 x 10^23 molecules instead of turning it into moles first? Since 1 molecule is equal to 1 mole anyway

  • @AnneSchmidt

    @AnneSchmidt

    4 жыл бұрын

    Jack Maida it is not possible because every substance has a unique molar mass which needs to be used if mass is part of the problem. And also in this problem we had less than a mole as the staring number.

    I must be doing something wrong. I did exactly as the video said, but it still keeps saying that it is the wrong answer. The problem is How many g are in 6.02e23 molecules Na2O My answer was 1.00 and it says it is wrong

    It’s asking for grams so the answer is it’s molecular mass
