As a russian I can only confirm that most of our actual *good* music is depressive and sad (For example Viktor Tsoi) because of the environment we grew up in. Destroyed and falling apart Khrushyovkas which were supposed to be temporary places to live in but we did not manage to achieve communism, and fell lower than we'd expect. Poverty, high crime rates, Corruption and Government that cares only about themselves and the Army. This is what influences us and makes our music so depressive even for the western standards.

The beat to this song literally describes my life right now. I'm going through the hardest depression ever, mixed with social anxiety and other mental illnesses. My mind makes me think that I'm faking this just for attention and other shit, and I can't motivate myself to get better grades at school. I have no friends, my family says I'm faking this and other bullshit and I've gotten to the point all I want to do is die. Nothing can motivate me to get good grades. I spend all my days alone on my room playing games, which is the only thing that makes me mentally stable. Also, my parents insist that there is no way for me to know if I have depression so they assume I'm faking it to play and live without work. I don't want to live like this anymore. I'm sick of this.

This is sad. Its about a person that tried to commit suicide but fortunately survived. I definitely had suicidal thoughts and the song actually helps me cope because i realise that im not alone though i never tried to commit suicide. My parents would always fight and my dad would hit me and i would have no friends and if a had some friends the friendship would last only bout a month which lead my to depression and suicidal thoughts 💭. I hope u are doing great! Remember u are not alone! Im not gonna say stuff like it gets better because for alot of people and me the “It gets better” feels very hollow so thats im not gonna be saying “It gets better” line. Remember u will be happy someday just dont commit suicide.

This Gif + Music combination is a powerful feeling of Nostalgia for me, back in my home island watching adult swim at 6PM as the sun was setting but it was perfect because I was a child and I was acting recklessly watching something Inappropriate before everyone came inside at 7PM lol. This comment is really heart warming, i love to discuss songs. This song is really great, i think i could probably listen to it for hours. Ive read the lyrics and although they are depressing it’s thought provoking, unlike the lyrics the beat makes you just want to dance. But sometimes you have to find the good in the bad and accept that this is our lives.

This reminds me of those days when you sit under on the floor of your shower, letting the harsh fall of water hit you head like little needles while you think of nothing at all and just stare at some point in the room that may or may not be a part of your reality. It reminds me of slowly and mindlessly walking barefooted on the icy wet asphalt of a September night. Or is it a morning? Is it even September anymore? Reminds me of leaning against a cool wall with your forehead, feeling nothing at all but the sludge of exhaustion dragging you to bed each night. Or morning because you stayed up late again, hoping to achieve what others tell you. You never do, you just write and write and maybe draw a picture. None of it matters to anyone else. Your own admiration for what you create those nights in frantic flow is torn slowly like paper. (Not the expensive sort - cheap copy paper.) You should have done something else, something useful. But you didn't and now you have a story, four or five thousand words long but no amount or words you write could ever make you forget about the opportunities you missed, the time you wasted on them. You didn't think it'd be a waste. Now you do, lying in bed as the birds begin chirping and the sky fades from black to navy blue. Now you do. And you're empty. Or what about those afternoons after you come home, utterly spent after something everyone else finds pleasant? You say you're going to take a nap but how long will it be? Sometimes you wake up after twelve hours of sleep and it's still not enough. It reminds me of the feeling you have, then, when you take a glance at the nightstand and the clock reads eleven at night and your entire life has slipped away from your grasp again. It reminds me of jokes your friends make and share. You know how amusing they find them, how much they laugh at those things. Sometimes you wake up and it's as if you took their place - a Freaky Friday esque scenario - and you can laugh too but it's never for long. It runs dry soon enough. It's almost like you need to be powered by something but you never find fuel that properly fits. You're diesel but they give you benzine.

Нет, эта песня про суициде. Одна строчка говорит об этом "Зато уютно умирать". Плюс после написания этого текста Борис Рижий повесился, а эту песню исполнила группа " Молчат дома". "Хочу в глаза ей поглядеть, взглянуть в глаза и разрыдаться" : здесь сразу представляется, что он смотрит ей в глаза последний раз. Конечно аьедуйщие строки говорят иное, но все же песня более наполнена депрессией и самой ✨атмосферой ✨ суицида.

Борис Рыжий совершил неудачную попытку суицида в конце 90-х годов, путём утопления самого себя в ванной,чуть позже попал в больницу, там он и написал этот стих, но спустя 4 года, 7 мая 2001 года снова совершил попытку суицида, повесился, на тот раз удачную. Не путай иностранцев)
