Just talked to Sweetwater about an MA-1000 today. I've been listening online since it came out. I love the quality of my r101 and the 2 MA201s we picked up in the spring. We don't have a flagship vocal mic ... feeling like this could be the way to go.

I need a new vocal mic and now I’m standing between u87 and ma 1000. would u recommend me the ma 1000 for rnb and pop vocals or would u say the Neumann u87 is a safer Choice ?? It’s such a hard decision for me. Don’t wanna make a mistake with so much money…

@@mojaveaudio I agree for sure that it is intended for demanding recording applications. The best modern microphone currently in production (the best transient capture I have heard).
