The added lore (Flocke Group buying the land of the farmers) is such a nice touch. If you enjoy adding lore to your cities keep it coming!

You should make a dedicated mansion filled gated community with a golf course running through the backyards of the mansions. And make it in a semi remote area far from downtown hotspots and heavy residential areas.

These farmers selling land is really realistic, at least where I live in Idaho. But it would be interesting to include a farmer that didn’t sell. In the rapidly expanding suburban city of Meridian, there’s one onion farmer that hasn’t sold his land. It’s now surrounded by two busy avenues and shopping complexes. I believe it’s the most expensive piece of land in the state and he still won’t sell. Pretty cool story.

I think you should make theese paths meet at the parking lot, so it can be a running track around the whole development

Maybe the new development could be named Winchester Circle? Or maybe "Massey Park" as a little nod to Massey Ferguson Tractors since it used to be a farm.

Haha, on my current build I have the town of "Masseyville" that I named after Massey Ferguson tractors since it was my original farm area. Now it's quite the developed area!

i think Flocke Gardens name could fit the area pretty well

Things I think would be cool to see in the city: A proper big hospital, a Big football stadium (as the current one is very tiny), man made lakes and ponds would add a lot to the visual appeal, national park, and parking garages instead of parking lots in denser areas

“The Loop” sounds like a pretty good name for the development. It’s snobby, modern, etc.

This detailing is really beautiful! I'm actually quite enjoying these episodes where you focus on one smaller area and put a lot of effort into it. It's really satsfying :) Also you adding reasoning behind these redevelopments is cool as well.

with this population, it might be nice to build an actual hospital for your citizens :)

Very nice looking city and infrastructure. Not many CS streams/tubers have the "feeling" or just know how to build in such way to look realistic and beautiful.

Name suggestion for the new part of town: *Kendrick Farm* (named after the local farming dynasty of the Kendrick family who tilled this land for generations before the last generation sold their two farms to the developers)

Nice development and some clever use of assets to produce something very distinctive. One tip: when using the surfaces you can see where the invis stuff is by toggling on the "Show Markers" option, which is the star/asterisk on its own on the line above the snapping options.

This is nice and all. But when will see a train connection to the Suburbs in Kendrick? :D

Liked this episode! nicely done. Would love to see you do some very over-the-top luxury and expensive neighbourhood - maybe an enclosed community of sorts with large single homes and amenities.

That round monstrosity doesn't look good with the roofs clipping, unfortunately, otherwise really fun to watch as always.

The Yard is perfect. There's an old coal depot/storage area behind King's Cross Station in London called Coal Drops Yard which is now a trendy shopping area (the sort of place you can order a smoothie with a drop of CBD in it and it'll cost you a day's pay). Samsung has a huge store and 'experience centre' there. In other areas of London, there's also Neal's Yard (home of the cosmetics brand and a bit of an Instagram hotspot) and Vinegar Yard, an outdoor food market where you can buy international street food and cocktails.

An investor group that cares about infrastructure instead of just plopping down a development and saying the heck with traffic. Made my engineer heart of mine so happy! 😊😊😊❤

At 30:31, I think the surface is placed wrong, the entrance is on the other way. I love your videos, riverview definitely is my favorite CS2 city right now.

Yup.

That is so realistic. Maybe adding European themed mansions on the foothills would show that riverview has a rich aristocratic history, maybe there was a revolution where people from Europe moved to Riverview and got wealthy from international trade.

you could name it "Flocke Park - Riverview" or Just "Flocke Park" the lore could be that the development company has a naming convention for any cities they build in.

The circular building looks awesome.. kinda reminds me of that Apple HQ building... I'm really enjoying how the city is coming along, especially as we're able to see how the game is evolving since you started this city right at the time CS2 was released. The "Yards" Sound alot like the Hudson Yards in new york which used to be an old railway yard but now its modern skyscrapers!

Your circular row homes reminded me of the posh Georgian houses laid out in a crescent in Bath UK. If I remember correctly the idea there was to give the residents a nice view.

3:55 you can click and drag along a whole road to add the grass lines and other details instead of doing it segment by segment

Placing those buildings in a circle with giant overlaps looks great from far but far from great

Circular Grove or Hidden Grove would be a good name for the new development, especially with the outskirt being more natural. I think driving or living there will feel like a hidden away secret grove from the rest of the city.

we have a simmilar development in my city called the silver ring? that could be a name for it.

Parking exit surface added at the 30 minute mark is going out to the wrong side of the block. The invisible path goes the other way out.

Because of the form of the whole area and playing with the different shapes, I would have called the new area for "Geometry Garden"! Good work man!

Sticking with the theme of uncreative names I think you should call it "The New Development". There is a neighborhood in my city that was developed on the grounds of an old horse racing track and for the past 30ish years its always just been called the New Development since it never got an official name.

This naming suggesting is probably simple but it’s a trendy type name developers would use. My suggestion is “Pathways” or “The Pathways”. Great video and design.

Some constructive feedback for you. A nice community like this would probably have a sign with the name of the development facing the road. I would expect the sign to be done up with fancy landscaping as well. As for a name, I would suggest Lark Bunting for two reasons: it's the state bird of Colorado and it was developed the by "Flocke" group.

DevMode corrupted my save file and had to start again :c. Every time i opened the save file i could play for about 1 minute and then the game crashes. Gadly i didnt have that much population

Aw that sucks. I have had the same happen, which is why I constantly save. I end up with 25-35 save games on each build!
