Make no mistake, Casemiro is not a goon, even though he excels in the dark arts. Don't forget, he's Brazilian. He is way more technically gifted than you might think.

Many people underate modric, but in MY opinion I think he is the best midfield in the world right now. He has so many key aspects in the game. He has dribble he has passing he’s a playmaker etc. Overall people all over the world REALLY need to give Modric more credit. Edit: don’t get mad because it’s just MY opinion!!!

@Rev ٖ I watched Zidane play, you can start to give arguments about that, but honestly? Modric is better. Even tho Zidane was a beast and i specially loved to watch his France games, he never really controlled completely the actions on the pitch like Modric did. And that's so important from the tactical perspective of the game. Even in his bad games like this against Brazil at the last world cup, Modric still takes game actions like it's his puppet

Casemiro est trop fort, c'est un des rares milieux défensifs qui sait tous faire. Il défends, récupère, précis dans ses relances, fait des passes décisives et en plus il marque beaucoup de buts. Casemiro c'est vraiment l'âme de l'équipe. Modric et kroos n'en parlons même pas.

Still the best after all these years. Barca’s “legendary” midfield was the best in Spain a good number of times, but these 3 were the best in EUROPE 4 times, I’ll take that any day. I’m so lucky to have had these 3 on my team.

Now that Casemiro is at United, I can truly appreciate his brilliance up close (as a United fan). The thing about this trio is that although they "specialise" in a certain role, all 3 of them can read the game to make the best pass (through balls, crosses), defend (intercept passes), can control the tempo in the midfield (slow up or speed up play), are skillful with their feet, and also shoot from long range. Each of them is a complete player and playing next to each other only elevated their skills.

Luka Modric have no one to compare with!! He is absolutely the best midfielder in the at least, last 11-12 years, if not many longer. Counting games before he goes out of from Croatia to England. Of course, I respect everyone else, but never the less, we are countrymen, and I surely have bias feelings against others in Luka favor. But, many football experts say that he is the not world class, but Master class!!??? If I'm not mistaken?
