Different style of play. I would say Xavi and Iniesta were perfect for Barcelona style of play ..and Modric and Kross are the same for Real Madrid

Having Kroos rest some games, not going to world cup and the rotations is helping him on getting to his best and probably being one or the best player for Madrid so far, incredible... Las season that's what he needed, more rest.

this is just another comment praising these two geniuses we are privileged to watch, keep scrolling ;) but to be totally honest, it's even hard to come up with more compliments to these two, simply incredible footballers showing how its done for so many seasons now. Many times being underrated, they keep producing brilliant performances like the one vs Barca on Sunday. This type of player is the reason i ever got interested in football and i hope many can agree - super smart team-players that like assists more than goals sometimes. They prove that sometimes it's "better to stand smart, than to run brainlessly" ;)
