BF3 and BF4 were my shit back in the day. first games I was ever really good at and I miss them, specifically BF3 and the nostalgia it comes with. I just remember coming home from school my sophomore year every day and playing with the boys and having a great time. favorite moment was when I jumped into a 1000% ticket CQ server with my friend on BF3 and we were down by about 500 points and no objectives when we joined. we hopped in a tank, took all of the objectives, and spawn trapped the other team and ended up winning. very satisfying, very good times

Then you join the open map game you can run from one edge to another half of the round.. then you change mode and this map turning into small close quarters battle without aviation and tanks. Fantastic customization. Rush modes were something gold standard. Combine it with hardcore and it squeezes you out. The main problem were to find good balance on the servers. Some custom servers using skill balances, then restrict changing teams and put new players in the team with less experience players. It works in 90%, making game 50/50 until the end. But people tired and searching for unfairly easy games most of the time. So you join and see how your team got 10% of the tickets with zero chance to win. So, with all my love to BF this game were not ideal at all.

ive always had a problem with how BF handled its air support like infantry is not hopping in a plane, ground striking or dog fighting, bailing, and then landing a continuing on fighting on the ground. i like how cod's does where you call it in on your earpiece/radio or mark targets with a device cuz that is how you get air support in real life. i know cod doent always have the greatest ideas or games come out but that and other ways cod has made its foundation has really stuck with me and BF is a great game too its just that and a few other personal gripes ive had with the games that has made me just stick to COD when I have money to buy a new FPS to add to my roster of "shit to play when i have time" and i dont plan on changing until COD really starts to eat shit

Rayan Mao the series began with the world war era, and they went back to their roots, I agree that there is less vehicle options, but they aren’t just going to add helicopters and APCs and gunships to a ww1 and WW2 game, there are also an abundance of guns in BF1, like have you seen the list? There’s a ton of them. Though I do agree that for the next battlefield game they should go back to modern combat, maybe we’ll see a bad company 3?

In some ways COD is more like battlefield than battlefield is now. Particularly with TTK, movement speed and weapon customization. Ground war isn't really on the same level as conquest map design but I think this is because COD is trying to be too many things at once and kind of suffers in some areas for its lack of focus.

Battlefield actually makes it feel as you are present in the game. The sounds and visuals are mindblowing even today

I can take down armor really well as an engineer anyday. Back in BC2 days armor never stood a chance even with c4 if you know how to combat armor as infantry you won the battle almost always hands down.

I guess now would be the perfect time to say it, sniping is wayyyy too easy on modern warfare, literally anyone can pick up a sniper on modern warfare and become the greatest marksman ever, then on bf4 it takes actual skill and knowing your targets distance and zeroing your scope in for the shot, honestly it just feels more rewarding getting a snipe on bf4 knowing it was all skill. I do like both though they were both equally my go to shooters when I beat legend of zelda for the 10th time lol

Leaning with the Magnifier: COD: uses both hands to engage/disengage it BF4: uses only left hand to engage/disengage it Never take your trigger hand of the rifle unless you absolutely positively have to Also sprinting. It’s a cool animation in COD, but it takes longer to shoulder your rifle from an upwards position. BF4 sprints with weapon at the low-ready, which allows you to aim much faster and easier

About the sprinting one, you are referring to cod's "tactical sprint" which makes you sprint faster but ads slower and it lasts for maximum like 4 seconds, most of the time people sprint with the normal "low-ready" position

@@dima12130 to me cod does get boring, maps dont change, weapons feel like lasers (ik it depends on attatchments) i played mw2, mw3, bo1, bo2, mwr, bo3 bo4, and mw2019, they entertain me for a bit but everything ends up predictable that it just feels like repeating the same thing over and over, in battlefield you could encounter anyone at anytime whether it is conquest or tdm, plus bf4 feels like im getting skill shooting and in combat, instead of flopping like a fish in call of duty to win a gunfight

Dirty Dan exactly. Battlefield v was ok. But my god I remember when they added the plane crash animations. The first time I saw that plane slam into the building was absolutely insane. I hope they go back to modern times. They can’t really cover any more older wars. Except the civil war. That would be interesting. But I hope the next battlefield is set in a modern environment.

Modern Warfare is built on the fact that FPS are short-paced and built for lower-end consoles/PCs. You cannot run Battlefield 4 with mediocre PC builds and expect high FPS rates.

Smurf Poppin depends on the game mode. Ground war they just drop in from the for randomly around HQ. Other modes their kill streaks. Idk if you can use them as kill streaks in ground war I never bothered with vehicles in this game. Makes me cringe using them.

I started on bo2 and left on bo3 l. I started bf on bf4 and I'm still playing 4

@@capolean2902 Then go buy a PS3 or PC to play them. DICE and EA will for sure ruin the Bad Company series If they make a new one now. What made Bad Company 2 great was how simple it was. It didn't have tons of guns, it didn't have gun customization other than scopes, it didn't have prone, it didn't have jets, it didn't have tons of gadgets. The maps were designed specifically for Rush. It was slower paced than Battlefield 3 and all subsequent Battlefields. Nowadays with game companies trying to make billions in profit with every game they release, there's no way Bad Company 3 can be made with the same love and care that Bad Company 2 was made with.

Battlefield 4 has a lot more gritty and darkened setting to set a realistic tone of modern warfare compared to the more cartoons nature of the new Modern warfare. It has more of as comparisons to the original modern warfare series than the new one. Both series though will have a special place in my heart.

@@joshuagarcia211 that is your opinion sir. Battlefield is based around realism and a more accurate simulation of what war actually looks and feels like. Call of duty is it's own style and is not bad, but lacks realism in many aspects of warfare, and gunfighting. There are a few things that modern warfare does better, but keep in mind bf4 is 6 years older.

@Emrah bf4 looked good. the only bad things where the renders an textures from far away.nonetheless pretty beautiful. bf1 and bfv look incredible. cod needs to work on the maps' outskirts and texture or model rendering times (they look blurry and low-res at first)

It’s WAY too bright. Same thing with BFV and BF1. The hud is super bright compared to the dark and gritty background

"CoD is so behind!" "BF4 was so ahead of it's time!" Listen....I grew up on CoD....I came into Battlefield during bad company 2. CoD advanced warfare releases, I stop buying CoDs until MW. I bought and played all BFs until BF V. CoD was good when publishers weren't pushing for monitization and gameplay loops that pressured microtransactions. Then it became trash and now it looks like it's back. Battlefield, same thing. Both excelled when they were not under the thumb of Activision or EA. But now a days Battlefield is a joke imo. I've lost 95% of my faith in DICE because of EA. They haven't done much of anything to innovate on their large scale combat it's actually a gotten worse. So y'all can say what you want comparing a game from 2019 to a game in 2013 but right now, CoD is King imo. And trust me i WANT another modern BF like 3 or 4 or bad company 2 but that's not out yet and we still haven't seen what EAs input is in it. So again, BF can suck a fat one until they redeem themselves JUST LIKE COD. BF needed the compitition and now they have the fire under their ass to pull out all the stops or lose sales.
