    Wonderful talk. The realization of the space within which thoughts and all other phenomena take place is indeed the first piece of the recognition of rigpa. Later comes the realization that the phenomena are *also* rigpa, just in different garb.

    Not really.. a dream remains like a tv show appearing in a TV set. The tv show never becomes the tv.

    @@ejackpete3 Right, the mirror never becomes the reflections. But it is discovered that they have precisely the same nature and their two-ness is illusion. The reflections then "know themselves" in the same way the mirror does, and this nondual knowledge / gnosis / vidya / rigpa is crucial for complete awakening.
