Great video, loved how you depicted each side because I thought you were going a different direction with it. And now to share an unpopular opinion on a predominantly black metal channel: I've been a metal head most of my life, and while I still listen to newer stuff just in case there's brilliance there, I find myself slowly rolling back the distortion to hear individual notes. I also let myself listen to other genres of music (romantic era classical music is bad ass). I've come to appreciate how Dark Funeral and Behemoth have evolved. There's less notes and more space in the music that gives it a unique ambiance. And while Slaves Shall Serve is an all time favorite, I feel like things like O Father O Satan O Sun are just as dark and heavy. Maybe I'm just getting softer as I get older. Cheers.

@@Mp57navy The amp that I use in digital version (mesa boogie dual rectifier) costs 1500 euros used if you're lucky. And that's without considering the cabin and the mic (let's put also a pedal if you want some extra distortion). You don't need a 4090 for recording songs, even the cheapest card works super fine. A 3060 it's even too much for the work and costs 300 euros. I love real amps but the costs, the space required etc doesn't make sense for me. If you have the space, the money etc, nothing to say but let's not pretend that is a more convenient and better deal than the digital stuff.

  • @Luemm3l

    6 ай бұрын

yep, fatality for bands who can not play for shit and then call it "being authentic" if you are a tech death band or even a black metal band who relies on faster blasts and tremolo and you are NOT on time, you will sound like a washing machine falling down the stairs. if that is what you like to hear live, more power to you, but it is kind of pathetic sometimes to hear bands that you love on record struggle to play their own material, that often is not too hard ot complicated to begin with. I wont name any names, but have experienced that especially with black metal bands more than once lol. so a click would actually help a lot of them to play better, tighter and thus have more evil atmosphere.

Fucking sad how so many people don't have the natural desire in having a physical album. CD's are my weapon of choice, and some of them come with artwork that is absolutely amazing.
