FLOOD magazine, in partnership with Original Penguin, have created Original Tracks: a special video series showcasing performances from some of the most original up-and-comers in the music world. The latest session is with the Philly folk punk group Modern Baseball, who were represented by Jake Ewald as he took us through acoustic versions of songs from their latest LP, "Holy Ghost," at the Original Penguin store in Chicago.

this sounds so much like a slaughter beach, dog song- you can definitely see how jake's time starting that band at the end of mobo really affected his songwriting process on 'holy ghost'

This version of this song gives me so much life.. I'm obsessed.
I remember playing this song out loud in the car with tears streaming down my face while I was driving to the hospital after the news my grandad passed away. This song stopped me from driving into something to end it all.

You're gonna miss it all definitely sounded pretty folk punk to me.... Holy Ghost on the other hand is more Alternative Pop Punk of some sorts lmao

Hate pretentious music snobs (aka Fantano) who write MB off as stale emo. Music is meant to be appreciated and enjoyed.
