Just wow. I've yet to see a layout, in person, that does not look like a toy model. I've seen remarkable buildings, but then the other landscaping looks, well, amateurish. Your layout seems so real, everywhere. I'm just starting an N scale layout and will be trying out your techniques. I appreciate your tutorials very much, thanks.

R G Thank you for the kind comments! I think of the modelling as a gradual improvement of methods and skills. Learn, practice, build.. Then learn new better methods, re-build and repeat.. Most people only build once using readymade stuff, then the result leaves more to be desired.. BUT! The important thing is to enjoy what you’re doing. It’s a hobby, not work.. Wish you best of luck! 👍😊

Super Idee. Hab mir schon Filterwatte für den Baum-Bau besorgt. Aber für eine Wasserfall - geniale Idee. Lach - ich sehe die Modellbauer schon bei I..A reinmarschieren und Kissen kaufen wegen der Füllung. Und die Schlagzeile bei B--D: "Kissenschlacht bei I..A! Sämtliche Kissen ausverkauft!"

Sieht super aus! Aber ich finde es immer ganz traurig mit anzusehen, wie du das, vorher so schön bemalte, Wasser nochmal übermalst. Danach sieht es natürlich wieder total klasse aus, aber trotzdem tut es mir in der Seele weh, wenn du deine Kunstwerke überklebst. ;)
