Muinaiset not in a million years lol. Stock for stock just maybe, fbo on both and there is no competition. The evo is known for te easy power. My car as it sits will eat this rs not trying to bash his car. Still very nice but not a competition

Grimespeed makes a really good tow hook plate holder. Got one on my RS.

Okay, so on Sunday I listen to my blues all morning while processing photos taken during the week. As an afternoon break I watch cars vids and this is the first time I've seen your channel, JD. There’s actually a 5th mode. Track mode+T/C off or the ESC I forget. Does something with the shocks/dampening.

I made 309/328 on a mustang dyno in my FBO MS3 on E85. I guess those numbers are good for the RS especially for being on pump gas.

15k more than an ST. Is it worth it, for daily driving?

I don't wanna be a dick, just correct me if I'm wrong. Isn't there a 20% drivetrain loss with AWD cars. I thought 15% was for RWD.

SeMpr3s Soren fwd has the least amount of drivetrain loss. Please inform your self before you speak and confuse others. Rough numbers for drivetrain loss are 10% fwd 15%rwd and 20%awd

Kiss that engine goodbye if you go big turbo. Engine has been proven to not be able to take it.

If all he has are bolt ons and a tune it's not going to be running more than about 400bhp at the crank. 450+? Exceptionally unlikely if the tuner knew what they were doing. Without changing the turbo, injectors and uprating the engine internals that tune won't be safe at all.

I like what it says on the plate jdm etr , But what if you pull up next to mighty 2jz Supra with over 1000hp OUCH I know I think I would just turn around and go home 😁

Austin Berry He's right though, your back is too far from the wheel for any kind of performance driving. I'm 6'3" as well, and when I'm driving my ST like an idiot I always make sure I'm close enough to the wheel to control the car. You are not. Your arms should be bent.

This video would have been excellent had you edited out all the owner's commentary. I think h'e confused between his car and an GTR. CPE was the perfect brand of parts for him. I'd be willing to bet good money he didn't turn a wrench on one of them. Just an FYI, to put things into perspective here mod for mod a GT will still smash an RS after about 60-80mph. I'd be willing to bet a GT with intake/exhaust and tune would beat this car in a 1 mile flat out race. The RS is an amazing car for what it is, but it's not that fast when you look at the price tag. You launch control, awesome handling, and 0-60. I'm not saying I'd never buy one, I'm only saying I'd have a good look at the rest of the options. Sometimes I like to keep going fast after 60mph.

The only reason it made high ish numbers is because you have to disconnect the awd system and make it fwd so the loss is less. But on the road you'll have less power to the wheels because you're using awd again.

Can anyone on here tell me if the turbo is molded into the exhaust manifold, or is the head and exhuast manifold one piece? I'm trying ot see why more people arent bolting on bigger turbos already. If I had one of these I'd get a custom exhaust manifold, a GT 3076R or maybe a GT35R of some variant wiht custom FMIC piping and throw some real boost at the motor. I cant for the life of me find anything about built motors or big turbos making real power on this platform yet. I feel like its taking alot longer, or do I just really suck at using google? Usually I can find info about this sorta stuff... Anyway, Thanks for any help!

It is a "headifold" design just like the ST and Ecostang. Everyone is limited to room behind the engine you can only go but so big and the 2.3L is throwing rods around 450whp so unless you do a full build you're kinda at the threshold with bolts ons and e30+. Look up high horsepower ecoboost mustangs same platforms just a lot more room in the bay since its mounted differently. You can swap the head from a 2.3l Range Rover Evoque that has a real exhaust manifold but you need a custom manifold and turbo setup and then you have to fool with the valve train. Only one person I know successfully did it and that is one of the premier ecostang builders, Adam at Tune+. Full blown motorsports has a crazy high HP RS that's the highest I've seen and like I said they blew their motor at 450whp then built and threw a big turbo at it. Cheers!

Joey Decks from roll debatable for sure. I got cobalt SS turbo full bolt on and mustang dyno 340 torque 305hp

Folks don't forget, if you want the full 335-340 hp stock, no it's not 350, you must use 93-95 octane, otherwise your stuck with 315-320 hp on 91... And, the max hp is on,y a brief 10-12 seconds in overboost only.

I'm sorry there's not that much of a Hp lose when comparing dyno's and 329 is kinda low even for being tuned on a mustang dyno with full bolt-ons.

15% is a bit too much I've been on numerous dynos in europe and had anything between 10 to 14% loss but never 15 I would say 13% is a safer number 12 would be too low, that said if you read car tuning forums you know that 329whp on a mustang is awesome anyway :D

Nismo370Z true. It might be around 350 on a dyno jet which is what most ppl go off of, but I hear ya. The torque is pretty impressive. Would be slightly over 405 on a dyno jet, which is very nice for 93 gas.

I've been in a RS w/ 330hp, and I do like the car, but I don't get the hype tbh. My 13 Wrx hatch pulls harder and still gives me more thrill, the gearing on the rs is too "laid back" for me, I could care less about a drift mode, if it's awd and you got power, you can swing it around. The RS has a good look to it tho! I just wish they felt as aggressive as they look, I've only seen 4-5 RS where I'm at, and from a pull or dig, I can show them what JDM awd feels like. RS dudes are a little cocky for Rollin with a still pretty stock car, even with bolt ons (power wise). The platform can't even get past 350 to the wheel without compromising all reliability
