Just take a deep breath and take care of yourself. Your pillow cases are so pretty and I love lavender. I got so overwhelmed with too many projects last year I had to reset and give myself grace. This may work for you. This year I am working on one quilt at a time which is how I started out. I want to do so many of the new sew alongs but have restrained myself. I thought I had completed all of last year’s but ran across a few from early ‘23 that I completely forgot. Best news is I have ordered only background, border or backing fabric and Lori Holt’s Autumn collection. Friday Kimberly will be a at Lori’s new house showing quilts from the new book.That will really test me!

So much to say... first we heard you just fine w/o the mic. 2nd- not a big strips fan either those are challenging lol. Love how the pillow turned out! Really loved it. The choices for your sew sampler are great. You did really well matching colors. And last, you never have to explain what's happening in your life. We are here to support you regardless. I forgot to tell you! Before you start the sew sampler quilt, head over to pickin stitches, she posted a video of the mistake she made cutting the strips for her stars. Definitely worth checking out before you start.

I want to do right by, not only my niece, but my sister who can’t be here to raise her, herself. ❤️ (She was the one who was a victim of DV and is in Heaven now and the ‘father’ is in prison serving a 70 year sentence for killing her)

@@ritawegner9052 some of it is for other quilts I’m working on, blocks or borders, and others I add to my stash. I have so many patterns I’m wanting to use, that I’ll be able to pull from my stash and hopefully not have to order much fabric.

Just hang in there kiddo.. if there is anything an ADHD brain can do is handle chaos.. be patient with you niece, i cant imagine what that poor baby has been through emotionally

I bought the mystery bundle and was super disappointed. They were all very dark and uninteresting fat quarters. Live and learn! Next time I’ll choose something different! I will have to gift them to someone because they are awful in my personal opinion! I usually am really pleased with everything but this was a big miss!

@@laurenyoung1858 yes, it was from Fat Quarter Shop! The colors all coordinated but they were very dark and nothing I’d ever choose. I will gift it to someone maybe but I really don’t like any of them! I thought because they usually promote Lori Holt and similar fabrics, that would be the mystery but I was very wrong! I will never do another mystery bundle again! In my opinion it was a waste of my money!

@@LauraSup oh wow! I’ve seen some of the mystery bundles in the past, but this makes me glad I’ve never ordered. MSQC has kinda made me hesitant to purchase mystery bundles for awhile.

@@laurenyoung1858 honestly, they were all very dark! There was absolutely no contrast within the fabrics! I will never order a mystery bundle again! Frankly, it was a total waste of money! I do like their Sew Sampler boxes though!
