Thank you very much! I wanted to adapt my apple pie recipe to mock apple pie filling for canning. I pressure can alot, but have never water bathed anything. This gives me confidence. Thanks again.

I was going to screen shot the ingredients when I noticed your list says Sure Gel but you were saying Clear Gel cook type. What a great lower carb option for an apple pie filling! I watched your KZread program on Mock Lemon /Lime pie filling and made both types of pie filling. I, 1/2 the recipe since it's only me. OMG THEY ARE AWESOME! I went out to check on my plants and gave them a pep talk, to do a rush job to produce some more zucchini? LOL Can't wait to try the Mock Apple Pie Filling! Oh my gosh, the price of apples is unreal. Your program selection has been a blessing, I am getting my veggies and dessert simultaneously! Thank You!

Oh, good grief, Miss Lorrie, not another zuchinni pie filling! I still have PTSD with my disasters from the lemon one! 🤣 Just kidding! Well, sort of. But I must say, for all the disasters I had, that did turn into the best tasting lemon filling I ever tasted! And I gave a quart to a friend, who made a pie. (Honestly, I hated to give it up) Her and her husband both said it was the best lemon pie they had! (& I gave you full credit!) Maybe one day I'll get the courage to make it again. But not before getting myself a food processor! And thanks for the tip about blending the clumps I had (instead of straining them out 😊) However, this one looks much easier. No grating by hand for 4 hours. And I do have a new round of zucchini growing. So I'm going to be brave and try this in the near future. Oh, and is it OK to skip the cloves? I really dislike cloves. I do LOVE cinnamon, though. A few years ago, I discovered Vietnamese Cinnamon. It is so good. It is much stronger and richer tasting. Thanks for sharing this , Miss Lorrie! Your channel is so great, and you always have the best, most unusual recipes! And I still just LOVE the Superb lids! I appreciate your expertise!! God bless, Miss Lorrie. Your comments always make my heart happy Judy!! And your story about the Lemon Pie filling will forever remain in my memory! You poor thing....you DO need a food processor! Maybe you could hint to your hubby that it would make a great Christmas gift?? As far as the Mock Apple Pie filling....just leave the cloves out all together if you do not like them. Thats not an issue at all. Feel free to add a bit more nutmeg or cinnamon!! Hope you enjoy this wonderful pie filling recipe!! BIG hugs!!
