What a time-saving solution ! BTW if that shot has lens distortion ,Should it need to do distortion correct in Syntheye or later ? ( Import tracking data to C4D for 3D match moving )

If you have SynthEyes then you can do it that way. Or you can use the Lens module in Mocha Pro to do you undistort/redistort. I would recommend rendering out an undistorted plate to bring back into Mocha Pro for 3D tracking. Then you can just use the exported lens data or Mocha Pro plugin to redistort when comping back over the original plate.

Hi, theres no export option for flame like in syntheyes other than using the fbx format and I cant seem to find my points.

When exporting FBX you have the choice of exporting points as Single Mesh or Nulls. Does changing this to Nulls let you find your points? Also, what would be your preferred format for Flame other than an Action export? We are currently working with the BMD team to fix a bug that effects importing FBX files as an FBX scene into Fusion. Make sure to subscribe to our channel and we will make a workflow video when it gets fixed.

With the standalone version we can't import USDz.... And no possibility to put 3D objet with the 3D panel too... I can only do the solver for ... nothing

  • @BorisFXco

Importing 3D objects is for checking the quality and alignment of the solve. Only .usd, .usda, and .usdc formats are supported, if you have .usdz files you will have to convert them. Mocha Pro's 3D Camera Solve is a fast way to generate camera and scene data for use in other packages. What would you like to be able to do inside of Mocha Pro in the future?

Ah thanks for your precious response ! With Apple We know only usdz indeed ;-)) I would like to use mocha with DaVinci in fusion and with Blender so I try to understand how to do ;-))
