April Classic Album Review Poll: surveyplanet.com/58d3200be6fd...
This month I talk about the 1995 classic album Mobb Deep - The Infamous. Grimey east coast duo from Queensbridge NY. This album really put them on the map and got hip hop lovers such as myself paying attention to them. Check out what I had to say about their sophomore album.

Man even the skits on this album is soooo good. This album as a whole really encapsulates the gangsta NY 90's Era
"Kidnap your children, make the situation scarier" Prodigy was a beast on the mic from 95-2000. If he stayed consistent, he would be top 5 right now.
Fuck yes. Incredible album!
Temperature's rising was also produced by Q-tip.

Zigge Stardust i got it
Trife Life and Start Of Your Ending are my two favorite Mobb Deep tracks but every song on this is really perfect. Gangster rap in its purest form.

Hell yeah. Every song is basically perfect, but "Start of Your Ending" is my favorite off the album. My second favorite Mobb Deep song is actually "Animal Instinct" off "Hell on Earth." Shout out to that (sorta) underrated album.
TRIFE LIFE THO....................................Smh. That song is so vivid. Makes me feel like im there everytime i listen to it.
One of the greatest rap albums of all time. Give Up the Goods is my favorite Mobb Deep song ever, Big Noyd killed that shit. I loved the Just Step Prelude as well . For the next classic review I would suggest Scarface - The Diary

Faaaaaaacts. I shout noyds verse at the top of my lungs each and every time
That Big Noyd album is called Episodes of a Hustla and it has basically the same sound as this and Mobb Deep are featured all over it, super underrated I actually have the CD.
lol "Progidy"
beezy I been waiting for this review for like 2 weeks lol I been checking your channel every day

Bmore24 t hahahaha thanks for watching man
I love The Infamous. I recently saw a list where Raekwon said he liked Hell on Earth more. I love Hell on Earth for it's expansion on the dark drum sound but I feel The Infamous is just too strong sonically and with all the solid verses.
This is one of my favorite albums of all time. Thank God "Juvenile Hell" flopped because when they came back with THIS, it was just so well put together. "Start of your ending" was the perfect way to start. I love the production... The lyrics were just so grimey. Crazy album
Oh yeah... Classic album for sure. So many good times playing PS1 and listening to all them other albums you named lol. 90's was that deal
Rest In Power Prodigy
I don't think anyone would be mad if you wanted to do a Enta Da Stage review. You're right, its super underrated and not talked about much - especially as such a ground(/sound)breaking album. Duck Down was killing it with a string of under-represented/underrated albums in the 90s (Dah Shinin, Da Storm, Nocturnal, For The People, etc). Some true classics in there.
Really feeling these classic album reviews. keep doing your thing man
Q-Tip mixed about the half of the album. He mixed the drums on tracks like Trife Life and Up North Trip and added the horn on Survival of the Fittest and did other stuff on the album.
Damn I was introduced to Mob Deep through 8 mile. That song makes me reach for the fire extinguisher every time.
Damn that new poll is a hard one! I want to hear you review a Spice 1 album but I ended up voting for DOC
R.I.P. P!
Can you please put Moment of Truth in the next poll, I was so hoping for that album, it's incredible and so unoften talked about!
Hello Beezy, love your channel and your perspective in deadend.. what about reviewing Supreme Clientele next ? Thanks man
Man I was watching this review for the first time just now, and I see on twitter that Prodigy passed away. RIP
Your review of a Death Grips project with DEHH a while back is my favorite review from you and the crew. May The BasedGod continue to bless you with fortune.
Loving these classic reviews. I'd love if AZ's Doe or Die was on the next vote, or even another Nas album would be dope. Keep it up man 👍🏽
Love this series so far, I honestly think 1995 is the best year in hip hop history. A good argument might be who had the better guest verses in 1995- Nas or Method Man? Maybe down the road you could do an all No Limit poll, I'd put Master P- Ghetto D TRU- Tru 2 Da Game Silkk The Shocker- Charge it 2 Da Game Mystikal- Unpredictable C-Murder- Life or Death I'm Bout It Soundtrack
fantastic album when i was about 19 i played this shit so often it was basically the soundtrack for a year of my life
I tried to keep myself from cringing every time I heard you struggle to say Prodigy's name lol but I'm glad you reviewed this album. I still love it to this very day.
Right back at you
please do Black Moon because that's a CLASSIC as well
man you got me good for next month. very hard choosing
Why do you and Myke upload within minutes of each other?

Great minds think alike
Oh man I remember the time I listened to this album. I just moved to another city, with hopes and dreams of making it big! But I got a shitty job, a shitty paycheck, shitty house, shitty neighbourhood and shitty neighbours. Things got me down real fast. This album was already out for a long time, but I hadn't listen to it yet. But I read several reviews about how this was a Hardcore Hiphop classic. So I started to listen to it. And something just clicked with me.... The lyrics, the heavy beats, the subject matter, all of it. I was amazed, started to let my friends and family listen to it. Hell I even let my shitty ass boss listen to it, thats how much I loved this album. There was this one time where I was walking down the street, listening to The Infamous, when I saw this little hoodlum kid throwing bottles at a wall. I stopped for a moment and decided to walk up to this kid. The kid saw me coming and tried to intimidate me by mimicking throwing motions at me. So I slapped the shit outta that kid and went on with my day. Shit I love this album....Hell on Earth is my favorite though! Great review Beezy!
Beezy is basically the star of dead end hip hop
Already on it
I'm not a big hip hop fan but this album alongside Illmatic and Liquid Swords are the shit. The early to mid 90s were musically creative times.
Favorite Nas/Mobb Deep collab is the "The Set Up" on "It Was Written" with Havoc. Beat is crazy. Foxy Brown on the interlude too w/ Havoc.
Ayo, B! Can you please Review your favourite Lil' Wayne album? I'm assuming it would be either: Tha Carter I, II or III?
Yo Beezy, did you watch the Stretch and Bobbito documentary? Would love your take on it.
keep it Up
Yo B, I remember you saying you used to watch Toonami, curious if you've seen the new Samurai Jack episode, they've been unbelievably good

Not Thomas yeah them shits been tight too
I remember when I first put the album on, the very 1st song was so hard I was an instant fan. That first song was just perfect IMO.
Probably one of my favorite albums of all time. From start to finish the production, story telling about living in Queens and even skits were top quality. This album made me appreciate Havoc as an incredible producer. But the infamous was important for the whole hip hop scene at the time. We can't forget that Tupac thought Mobb Deep was taking shots at him on this album, didn't help matters after Suge Knight called out bad boy and Puffy which only escalated matters because Mobb Deep said they were on Biggie and puffys side. I even think Mobb Deep held their own throughout the east coast vs West coast beef and buried Tupac with their diss. To me, Mobb were the real gangstas, and this album is probably one of the best gangsta albums ever made as well.
I was also hoping for enta da stage haha but still a good review as always.

Cradle to the Grave was my fav off this album, anyway go ahead and review Black Moon B.
This is easily one of the best East coast albums ever: Ready To Die Illmatic Enter The Wu-Tang(36 Chambers) Reasonable Doubt Only Built 4 Cuban Linx The Infamous Liquid Swords Doe Or Die Get Rich Or Die Tryin Supreme Clientele
how about reviewing Non-Phixion?
Beezy, have you played horizon zero dawn? Would you do a review?
MBDTF
R.I.P P
How do you pick which albums that you put into the polls ?
Rass Kass - Soul On Ice please vote for it guys!!!!!
I'm one of the few that don't really find this album dark at all. I found the beats hard hitting, but with a very Soulful and mournful feel.
I'm still mad Organized Konfusion didn't win though. Pharohe Monch and Prince Po are legends!
My second favorite rap album after Illmatic. This album is just a masterpiece, some real gangsta shit!

idkman Depends if he listened to them back in the day. I feel like people underrate classic Three 6 Mafia, so it'd be pretty nice to see B review it

LouieV6 yeah definitely. I rarely ever see people talk about that album especially which is a shame because it is so influential and ahead of its time. They had "trap" beats in the early 90s, were the first to do triplet-flows and also pioneers of horrorcore. It carries so much importance yet almost nobody pays attention to it.
Eye for a eye, Give up the goods, Temperature rising, Trife Life, Right back at you, Drink away the pain is my favorite tracks... Album is a 4.5/5
