Mo'Nique on Katt Williams Being A Truth Teller | CLUB SHAY SHAY

Mo'Nique on Katt Williams Being A Truth Teller:
"Everything Katt Williams sat here and said, we all know it to be the truth... We get so caught up in the messenger that we'll overlook the message. People have a hard time hearing a 5'5 giant tell the truth. People have a hard time with a black woman over 200 pounds tell the truth. Because people that look like us should just be grateful we got invited to the party."

Mo'Nique was so right about people choosing to not say something when they see something wrong. This is how abusers get away for the longest with hurting their victims, especially child victims. Because adults see it happening but choose not to say anything. We have to break these cycles of staying silent and start holding people accountable. Like Mo'Nique said, if someone is doing your friend wrong and you know it, call that person out. And that's what Katt and Mo'Nique and others like them are doing.

Letting a man bond, love make sacrifices, spend hundreds of thousands of dollars (if not millions) over the years for a child that’s not his? Then that child grows up to know that wasn’t his father and forever hate his mom for lying? The grandparents and uncles and aunts realizing that kid wasn’t related to them? That’s so messed up…*
