Thanks for the support! I enjoy watching your videos for the same reason. You guys are fun to watch and the way you review is spot on. It helps the RC community grow when people have a great experience with the hobby and not get a sub par performing RC. That can give the hobby a bad reputation. I'm glad I get RCs for review but at the same time hope people still trust me when I review items sent to me. I have been in the hobby for years and enjoy watching your progress in the hobby. I'm into everything RC like you guys. Started with nitro trucks, cars and helis. Now these slow crawlers got a hold of me for some reason lol.

Thanks bro! I was pleasantly surprised. Thought I was going to see plastic ring and pinion. Its a performer for mn model. The transmitter just had the throttle spring installed wrong and I sorted it out easily.

You cant go wrong with the 2speed best way ro sharpen your drive skills weather raceing a friend or going for a crawl threw the creek in the park. Just water proof first 😉

@@RunThatRC I will cannibalize some of the parts (front and rear bumpers, tools and accessories) for my Camel Trophy D90, then will remove all military references from this one and turn it into a California beach party vehicle complete with surfboard, BMX and camper trailer. Exact opposite of its original look.

Hai David, I got me the tan one, works great, I am just back from holidays in Eastern Europe, Poland and Slovakia, Germany too, three weeks. With my classic 33 year old Volvo and 44 year old campingtrailer, I brought it along as wel as the Ural and the Gaz, it performed great. Mine came without the high jack unfortunetly.Shame. I like it though. Might get the 99 too!!

They really put some effort in this model for sure. Only MN Model I haven't damaged a axle gear first run. They must read your comments because they put 2 130 motors in it in the form of a 260 motor lol.

I do not know of a kit version as of now. Just change the esc and tx/rx and it's good. It has a 3 wire servo. The tires are soft and work good as well.

eBay search "A285004", about 13-14 bucks for set. do have to tilt the tops in. I went further than the tray screw holes for even more softness and to sit like stock, but you CAN use those tray holes about 1-1/8" inboard of the stock shock mounting holes. budget? WPL shocks for 4 bucks a set.

@@RunThatRC I haven't played it either but I watched a few videos of gameplay from this game streamer called Dr Disrespect, and it shows some of the melee weapons that can be found in the PUBG game and a frying pan is one of them. PUBG has heavily influenced the accessories in the MN kit. That scoped hunting rifle (aka 8mm Kar 98) is in the game too and is one of the top tier sniper rifles I think. It's not in scale though--it should be much larger than the AK-47 included in the kit. Pfffft.

We watch your chanel a lot , wondering witch one of the w p l crawlers are the best bang for the buck , with the most up grades as a kit model , out of the box , thanks again for your help Jay 😄

I would have to say that the KM version kits are the ones you want. Comes with all the upgrades you normally would purchase for the regular kits to make them perform better.

I just realized this RTR has the "20 pcs RC Decoration Tools for WPL B16 B36 C34 etc" set that is offered separately on Banggood and AliExpress. They come in red/black or yellow/black and are an assembly kit. So this is a good way to judge how they look on a 1/12 vehicle. Should fit the C34 but might look oversize on the C14/24 Toyota Hilux...

I really like the look of this. I don't know whether to get the D90 or just go with the wpl c24. Which ever one I get will be upgraded with metal upgrades (over time) and I will possibly try make some homemade upgrades for which ever one I get. I am undesided in which one to get 🤔

I like both those models as well. Hard choice! Im a fan of the newer wpl stuff that come full metal. If your not going all metal version then both are similar in reliability (not that reliable out the box but mods are everywhere for these)

the mn 96 is basically the same. The only difference is the tires are smaller on the 96 than the 99 same wheels though.

So is WPL and MN both new brands? I wonder why their kits and stuff are so affordable. I mean, the c44km and b36km are essentially hobby level but for a very good price. And with a couple mods on this, this could also be hobby level too.

Smaller scale and lesser known brands. They been around for a couple years(a little over 2 years I think). I have been stuck on them for the past year. WPL is going places and MN Models is um another D90! hahaha. Jokes aside I like this scale rc. You can bring more with you when you travel. WPL definitely crossed over to the hobby grade side quick and I am liking it.

its the stock body that came with the mn86 model. This is just the military style version of thr mn model d90.

An 8mm Kar 98 with a scout scope, so yeah, pretty much. It's more sniper oriented when the optics are mounted over the receiver though

I think its like uaz in pubg gameplay car, with a lot of stuff like kar98 + 8x scoope, akm, lv3 backpack, flare gun, and that box from air drops 😂😂😂

yeah I tend to upgrade the power system in these because im just after the scale looks. Can't expect to much for the price I guess.
