Always had a soft spot for Hot spot. Not so much the rest of his team though, haha. I like how easily his special med bay mode can be turned into a Perceptor mode "Someone told me they dont like me doin that" immediately triggers memories of Capt. Murphy from Sealab 2021 sayin, "Too bad"

I agree that in person Hotspot looks so much better. Got my copy today and love it. The pictures were not flattering and was tempted to cancel at one point but so glad I got him.

@@thetitan914As the reviewer and you said it’s a great piece. The only big issue for me is the feet, I just don’t like it. The combiner mode is astonishing and I’m definitely going to keep his top half in combiner mode and bottom half in robot mode so I may transform the other figures as I wish. For Hotspot I’m gonna buy a different Hotspot in the future, and that’s that’s

I received mine yesterday and It’s a nice piece. One foot came out of the box fatigued and with a hairline crack. They should have used die-cast for the foot and the connecting joint to the foot, this should be standard by now. Not to mention that this piece is considerable more money then MMC’s Onslaught. The piece does have TONS of potential so of course that has to be acknowledge and a very well done to Master Mind Creations. Please start using discast on you critical joints and also the combiner joints as I’d would like to hand these pieces down to my grandkids. Thank you to this reviewer as well 👌💯

As far as it costing more, but unfortunately we've had inflation. On top of that, I feel like there's a ton more going on transformation wise into the combiner mode

I see that in combined mode, Defensor's chest only tabs in in the middle. How fiddly are the right/left flaps that make up his chest?

I haven't messed with it fully combined but in the couple times I transformed it It didn't fiddle around at all. There's no real reason to touch it

@@TMan978 That's why asked the question. Paik pointed out that the chest tabs in less now than with the prototype. But didn't mention if it was an issue (which means it probably isn't). Thanks for following up! I watched yet another review this morning... and it didn't come up. I'm thinking it's not really a problem. I'm probably getting this figure... Which means I need to look at getting Groove and Streetwise as well. :)

Mine was boxed in robot mode.

@@TMan978Yeah, he looks a little too complicated for me to mess with as I normally try to transform them myself first. There's some exceptions where I don't bother and this was one of them.

@@TMan978 What a pain to transform. I finally transformed him and now he's in Defensor mode to stay. Way too many small little things moving about. I also broke his crotch area piece as I was manipulating his legs and it justice fell off and broke a piece off. I've filed to get a replacement part so hopefully I'll get it.

Wait, did yours come in truck mode?
