Randy coached on 3 of the first 4 seasons of TUF Randy had an entire PPV event dedicated to him (Ultimate Couture) Randy was given a color commentary position while still being an active fighter Randy was inducted into the UFC hall of fame From 2001 - 2008, 13 of his 14 fights were title fights. Randy was given a Heavyweight title shot after coming off a loss at Light heavyweight and retiring. The UFC was absolutely pushing Randy.

“UFC needs to pay more” Okay. It’s a publicly traded company with huge overhead. “They made a shit ton of profit” Yeah. They’re legally obligated under threat of lawsuit to provide maximum returns to shareholders. “Fighters put their lives on the line” They would for any promotion and did before the UFC. Would it be better if UFC was a not-for-profit? That would be amazing. Then, what are now profits would go to the fighters. How good would these fighters be if they all had enough money to afford the best possible camps and support? Would we have 5 more Islams? 5 more O’Malley’s? Volks? 🤷‍♂️ Be mad at life, fate and history or go build what you wish existed.

I don't know, a hungry-fighter is more dangerous than a full-fighter. But then again, coaching and the supply network is the reason the sport has evolved over the years, so you're probably right about the fighters being better if there was more money in it for the fighters.
