白川先生の合気道って理論もしっかりしていて分かりやすいし何より本当に美しいよなー。

ほんと、わかりやすい！ 他の合気道の動画じゃ説明自体感覚的過ぎてよくわからなかったとこが、白川先生の動画だとスッと入ってくる感じ。 リモートワーク全盛のこの時期、白川先生ならビデオ通話越しでもちゃんと生徒の動きが映ってさえいればかなりの精度で指導しちゃいそうですね。 そしたら受けてみたいかも。

素敵！合気道は精神が素晴らしいですね。

合気道が勘違いされるのはショーでやってるからだよね。 講演会とかで技を披露すればどうしても派手で華やかなものをやるもんね。 せっかくの晴れ舞台で地味な技やるわけにもいかないからね。 人目につくのってだいたい講演会とかの映像だよね。 結果合気道ってお互い分かってて動いてる、 予定調和のものでしょって思われちゃうんだよね。

今回も行雄さん笑わせてもらいました。 行雄さんやられてるの最高に面白い

But it doesn't really "show" anything: it's just an aikido lesson. To prove those techniques can be done under pressure, the teacher would have, well, to show them under pressure. Here it's not the case. The fact that the student is a MMA fighter doesn't bring any value to the video.

@@JeanMichelAbrassart exact on the point. But now, everyone can see that and judge the utility of this kind of video for themselves, you are right , there is no value in a test if there is no gradual pressure.

合気道の技は相手を痛めない（相手が逆らわない限り）

まるで 北斗神拳のトキのようですね。関節を痛めるか柔らかく治療するか？ の違いのような？

色んな漫画で殺法すなわち活法といいながら殺人術描いちゃってる事多いけど、武道が活法になるというのがこの動画でスッと入ってきました。 合気道は護身術や演舞を見てる人が多いと思いますが、護身術は相手にダメージを与えているし演舞は所詮パフォーマンスでしょ？と感じている人多いから誤解して理解してる人多いと感じました。 こういう動画が広まるとよいですね。 余談ですが僕は超強いのに人と戦う事を基本的に避ける、灘神影流宮沢静虎が好きです。 トキも北斗神拳を治療に使ってるイメージありますが、読んでないからあんまわからない(笑) ちなみにバキは読んでないです。

そう、私もそうおもいますよ。合気道はまだ全然その本当の魅力、素晴らしさが伝わってない。私は以前から思ってました。合気道はMMAとコラボすることで、その本当の武術としての力を発揮するって。少年の頃に合気道に出会い、ブランクありながらもなぜか合気道には縁があって、でもなんか合気道って、他の武道や格闘技と比べてどうなの？勝てるの？みたいな素朴な疑問から、キックボクシング、レスリング、柔道、BJJとやりはじめて、あっ、でもやっぱり最終形は合気道だ。、って気づいた。

This is a fun series. I would respectfully take issue with one thing that was said though I think it may have been a translation error. Shirakawa shihan said that Aikido does not destroy your oponent. I have been in the unfortunate position to have used Aikido to defend myself and others multiple times. The nagewaza are devastating if the opponent does not know ukemi and the kensetsuwaza will destroy a joint if the opponent continues to struggle against them irrationally, especially if they have mental health issues or are on drugs or alcohol. Better to say Aikido does not destroy your practice partner because it is trained in a cooperative manner.

@@iatsd I have to call bs on this, or at least it’s not making sense to me. I have not seen an Aikido technique that would cause some level of damage if it were successful and the opponent was resisting. The ultimate show of grappling is what you are claiming, to control with no damage. I see it all of the time when great wrestlers compete against kids that are novice. The joint manipulations in aikido are not allowed in wrestling because the “victim” will resist resulting in injury. I hate being wrong , but I actually love finding out the truth regardless. Please, enlighten me, or try to. I would love to see where I’m wrong.

@@iatsd yes, I’m sorry for the confusion. In wrestling, at the high school level (less at the college level, and barely at the Olympic leveling) the ‘potentially dangerous’ rule has been implemented as far back as 20 years ago (might be older) for what used to be taught as pressure/influence joint locks and holds because the targeted persons would resist being manipulated by the pain/‘danger’ and end up seriously injured. I am not including anything that was used to put a wrestler on their back, because that is a cultural thing that doesn’t transfer much outside of the sport.

合気道に限らず少林寺拳法も中国拳法も武道の関節技は立ち技メインだけど総合で相手が掴んできたり逆にこっちから掴むってのは難しい。 だから合気道の技の中にある理合は使えてもそのまま技を使えるとは思わない方がいい(´・ω・｀)

白川先生の基づく流派（合気会）など、半分以上の流派では演武のみになりますが乱取りつまり対面試合を行う流派も御座います。 ちなみに、乱取りを行う有名な流派では富木流などがあり、実戦に役立つということで自衛隊徒手格闘術にもその技の一部が汲まれています。

The mma fighter will knock him out in less that 15 secs in real fight. He wont let the master grab his wrist.. 😂😂😂

@@RM-eu5et Im not even talking about a match, just some lighter sparring. A lot of their stuff could be adjusted to work if they actually pressure tested it. Ive seen some bjj guys take some aikido moves and try to make them functional, etc.

I want my son to learn self defense, but he can get a little aggressive sometimes and I don't want to encourage him to attack other kids so most martial arts was out . So I signed him up for Aikido and he really enjoys it. He doesn't get angry as fast and understands that Aikido should only be practiced in the dojo. Oh and he's only 5.
