Many people thinks this tournament is useless and meaningless , but they are all wrong. This is the best opportunity to show and promote our beautiful sport. Baseball should be as big as the FIFA World Cup. And yes, to me a WBC title is more important than a World Series title hands down.

Although we lost, this classic made thousands of boricuas proud (including myself) and that to me, is a lot bigger then any award. I couldn’t have asked for better representatives🇵🇷

As a Dominican, I respect Puerto Ricans, I think lindor is better playing for his country then in the regular season🇩🇴❤️🇵🇷

Alexis Diaz loaded the bases against Dominican Republic and did it again against Mexico that killed Puerto Rico's WBC Championship hopes.

Cant believe we lost man, I was grieving, still am a little, I really hate how you can play for a country you’re not from, that’s like taking away other people’s opportunity to represent THEIR country instead of someone who’s not even from the country (Randy Arozerana), it’s stupid, at this point just have anyone play for any team.

Arozerena is Mexican Cuban, it doesn’t matter if they’re not “from” that country, it’s his heritage. Same thing for Nootbar on team Japan

Yes it hurts to lose that way but I will always be proud of 🇵🇷 Arozarena became a Mexican Citizen he fled Cuba to Mexico were they treat him like their own unlike Cuba. He has kids born in Mexico. What if your country treat you like crap you flee from your country to a country that treats you better than yours?
