Both Bay Area boys. NorCal.
Randy played for the Jamestown Expos, in the minors, 13miles from my door. Got to see him when I was 7yrs old.
I love that Randy Johnson got the documentary treatment from the MLB Network. He certainly had one of the most unique careers in baseball history
How can you not like a Hall of Fame MLB Pitcher who is also a Rush fan? My favorite sport. My favorite band. Thank you Randy.
As a left-handed pitcher growing up, I idolized Randy. I tried to throw like him. Luckily, my left shoulder is still intact. As a Braves fan, I was watching when he threw the perfect game in Atlanta. I wasn't happy to be on the losing end of something like that, but I was happy for him at the same time. He's a well-deserved hall of famer.
I can't tell you how lucky I feel, growing up in AZ listening to Greg Schulte call games on KTAR-AM with the Big Unit and Schilling pitching every 4 or 5 days.
Who else watched this knowing there would be a Rush reference...and then freaked when Geddy came on?
Tremendous Documentary on The Randy Johnson.Damn he threw hard & fun to watch in Seattle. Nolan Ryan turned his career around!
Well deserved recognition for one of the greatest! His intensity, focus and love of his position (Pitching), during his career was a sign of greatness to come. Randy, wishing you peace, good health and happiness. Namaste. From a Vietnam Era Marine Corps veteran.
Was easily one of my favorite pitchers to watch growing up 😁
I saw him live in Seattle a bunch of times, before 1995 they were mostly small crowds. I was at a bunch of half that would have 7 to 9k fans in the Kingdome. The nights Randy would pitch there'd be 15 to 29k. Total stud, them at the end of 95 they were getting 57k a game. Randy was the man
The Big Unit was an all-time treat for us D-backs fans...
Top 3 pitcher of all time and best left handed pitcher ever
Johnson will forever be my favorite athlete as an az sports fan. Only warner or fitzgerald even come close.
This documentary makes me like him more.

@@ThisIsWhereYouFindBaseball Thanks. I've tried accessing it there many times before and it doesn't play back. I've tried on multiple devices and multiple locations and the best I get is a neverending spinning circle. Is it actually working for you?

It does play for us.
He has a good sense of humor
🐍 🌵 that 2001 🏆 World Series in my top 3
Do you have video of the game between the Braves vs. Reds on October 2, 1988? Two runners took second and third on a play (i.e. a double steal) but it was called defensive indifference. The newspaper accounts don't mention a steal and I'm trying to figure out what happened.
