MLB umpires have gotten out of control. The MLB needs to start punishing umpires when blatant calls are missed and not called. It’s getting ridiculous to watch baseball nowadays, umpires dictate the game way to much and don’t let players showcase what we actually came to watch.

I wish the directors of baseball broadcasts would be more sensitive to what's going on in the game. So often, the camera is late to things: ejections, arguments, any sort of drama. They will suddenly cut to something completely uninteresting, like the batter taking some warm-up swings, or the pitcher spitting onto the grass; meanwhile there's clearly drama brewing at another point in the game, but we miss it cause the broadcast director doesn't catch it in time. If there's a controversial call on a ball and strike, KEEP THE CAMERA ON HOME PLATE.

The Padres game was a bull call. Umpire put his hands in the air whether it’s a bunt or not. It’s a dead ball
STILL to this day, if a batter gets hit by a pitch, at least half the time, its the catcher that gives the signal to the pitcher to tell him to actually throw at the batter, just like that one time, dont know how many years ago it was, but it showed a batter getting hit by a pitch and the first thing the batter did was kick the catcher Straight in the chest, then like normal he went after the pitcher....

Good video thanks
Umps are fans also they have faverite teems
I want to watch shitty ads, but they are constantly interrupted by baseball ejection clips.
Umpires have no answer to. Anyone but players get fine all the time and suspended as well as managers . fans are that there to watch the umpires
Umpires have to much control, if your in the dugout you can say whatever you want, the umpires get there feelings hurt to easy they cant take it leave.
As an Englishman I think I know more about the game of baseball than the so called umpires do
And I thought ref ball was strong in the NBA and NFL. Prior to watching your videos I had no clue the umprires had that much power when calling games. The mere fact you have 14 (soon to be 15) seasons of this through out every month of the season from Spring Training all the way the Postseason is crazy. And the majority of the time it's a manger getting ejected for arguing call. Espeically related to balls & strikes. Which BTW, why the hell is arguing a ball or strike call an automatic ejection?
These vid's just go to show how important the reviews are, Ref's get the call wrong so often
@bryanm255
3 жыл бұрын
They actually don't. They get over 90% of calls right. I will say though some umpires have pure shit egos and won't ask for help which is why reviews needed to be put in the game. Any time a coach asks for help if i have an umpire i am working with.. if I see he has a better angle.. i will gladly ask. That is all coaches really want on some calls. It sucks if the call gets reverted but the point is to get the calls right and now let big egos get in the way of that.
52:00 lmao it was 92, what do you mean the ump knows nothing. Yeah it missed by a lot but that wasn’t by design. It was a bean ball thrown by a pitcher with bad aim, not a slider that got away from the lefty

Ronnie's hockey show lol, depends on the Joe you are referring to. If Girardi, he deserved that one, don’t bark from the dugout and argue balls/strikes, why that’s so hard for managers to remember is beyond me. If Joe West, he got it right on this one, cause, again, it’s the easiest rule, you’re not allowed to argue balls and strikes, will get you ran every time, especially when barking from the dugout.
