The difference between the front view of the car is so big. It looks so much bigger and sportive! Hope to finish university soon to finally get the ST. At the moment I just could afford the Kit 🤣. Great video!

You gave to put a bigger wing of some sorts on this car Jonny. It's already looking bonkers but with a bigger wing, and now with the mud flips, it will look like a proper rally car. I'm so proud of what this car has become. :x GJ!

Wheel spacers look really nice plus this side skirts gives ST a really sporty look. Great video mate 😄

Class video, as per usual. Think this gloss black kit would be nice on the white ST? Same car, just white. Pano roof etc.

Either you were knackered from days of filming, editing and fitting things or you came across a bit underwhelmed by then end! Kit looks really good, but being a bit OCD i would either want it all ‘texture/satin’ effect like OEM or all gloss black. You live around Silsoe area btw?

ad182uk Not near me, no! And I gotta be honest, I was quite tired! That said, it’s definitely one of those mods which looks okay as you fit it. Then you walk away from the car and only when you come back to it do you get the wow factor. It really does look awesome!

Someone's spending some money ready for ford fair 😁. A big fan of the trc splitter not a fan of the spats though all personal preference though nice video mate as always editing on point.

These maxton add ons are just about passable on black and grey cars. On any other colour car it literally looks like the car has been driven through halfords covered in superglue.

Pretty easy. Pull it off and apply some glue remover and you should be golden. Rivets are doing a stirling job! I've not hit the splitter on anything thought to really test them.

It is a textured finish that matches the OEM plastics. You can have it smoothed and painted for a little extra when you purchase, if you'd prefer.

Was waiting for this video. You came across the same issue as me, took a good couple of hours and a lot of thinking to get the the front splitter to fit, eventually managed to use the nuts and bolts but jeez it wasn’ easy! Strange thing was everyone else said it was!? The sides were easy enough and just screwed the back ones on. With it lowered do you not think you’’ll have issues with speed humps? oh and they’ll never be that clean again.

Not had any issues with speed bumps yet (thankfully!) It seems to be holding up well. Hit 120 on track yesterday and they didn’t come off, so must be on okay 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣

Heinz Hans Hi mate, yes the car is lowered by 20mm, on 18 inch wheels and it has 20mm spacers. I have done installation videos on all of these modifications, so you can see how they are done :)

Is this the trc v3 splitter? How big is the center gap? Looks like a couple of plastic washers/ spacers would allow for a couple of centre fixings just to be sure!

Just called their 'front splitter' for the moment as it is the only one available for the MK8 :)

Lowridah51 Hi mate, they come ready applied so I’m not sure. Perhaps with a little heat and patience, they’d come off but you’d risk damaging your new splitters and skirts :)

If the ST Line headlights are LED's then I imagine they'll be a straight swap. If you have the halogen clusters then it may be possible but expensive. The LED headlights have sensors on both front and rear axles for leveling which will need to be retrofitted in order to make the LED's work.

Any issues with speed humps? I mean the small island type bumps. I used to have a mk1 tt that was lowered 40mm and it was a nightmare for scraping!

For me, no but it is different for everyone so check with your insurer before fitting.

Not sure if it will. The bumper will fit though, if you are happy to swap them over. If you have adaptive cruise, you may not be able to swap the lower grill (has the radar in it). Also, not sure if the adaptive cruise lower grill would fit the ST bumper. Hope that helps!

Anybody following this get the riv nuts. Potentially at higher speeds the rivets could pull out and loose your splitter under the car an maybe hit the car behind. You have been warned 😂

Think they would’ve looked better colour coded. Understandably i know it’s expensive but I’m picky like that lol
