Awesome sport exhaust system from MIVV!
When Your PTI is expiring, You must to check Your exhaust system also. After 14 Year, of course better to replace it.
Here in Germany, the inspectors are not so flexible with the measurements :) And this is Good from them!
Last time they said: Next time, this bike will not pass ....
The original muffler cost 700 Euro!!!
Meanwhile the complete MIVV GP Carbon cost only 370 Euro!
MIVV give You all documentation, to complete the periodic technical inspection. EU card, papers, warranty for their exhaust systems..

So what about the performance of this exhaust? Some exhaust decrease the power-output..

Well, before the top speed was 210 Km/h, now 234. But maybe this is coming from the full maintenance of fuel lines, carbs, exhaust pipes. I feel some more aggressive acceleration around 4000-6000 RPM and more stable idle running.
Dont you need a catalyst to drive legal in germany with this exhaust? I got the excact same bike and want to buy this exhaust but I am not sure if I need to buy a catalyst.

@@HowardHoden My mechanic told me I do not need one. That's why I do not have one. At least after the first police check I will know if it is true.

ok, but be sure if they check ur bike in germany they let u walk home. Because without an catalyst the bike is not ready for the street. They call it ABE (Allgemeine Betriebs Erlaubnis) and u get it only with Catalyst.
Take the back silencer insert out, sounds way better ;) I've got the same on my bandit

Kit: 48 - oil , filter : 70 - exhaust system: 370 - new jacket: 499 - new pants: 100 - new gloves: 270 - other small salala: 200 - new PTI exam: 80 So ride or music? Eh ... both!
