On today's video we unbox and try out the MityVac MV5530 Professional Compression test kit and see if my 2011 Ford Mustang 5.0 motor is blown up. This kit is a really nice and professional compression tester that is also very affordable. Performing the test is pretty easy for most skill levels and in this video I run through the steps and explain how to do it. I hope you enjoy this small tutorial/review!

Honestly that tick at the end sounded like the Gen 1 coyote timing chain tick. Mine used to do it when warmed up. But also my piston rings were deff on their way out lmao.

Might be the chain. I think there’s also a crack in the x pipe again from going off road at clubloose a couple months ago. Lol. I really need to put a few miles on it and see if things get worse. I guess it’s good that I bought a trailer but that down payment could’ve paid for a short block. Lol 😔
Also you have to hold to throttle wide open to run a compression test.
I guess only time will tell.
Do not put anti seize on your spark plugs. It changes the heat range on your plugs, plus the anti seize will eventually drip down onto the strap and into the combustion chamber.
Stock opgs?
I suppose better it happened not far from home. Rather than in California.

Tru dat. There’s no way I could afford that tow bill.
