Bought my x gsr with a stainless stm system and just swapped it with a tomei and I would do that over and over again. To hear the rumble when changing gears brings smiles every shift. Nothing beats. If no tomei, custom titanium single exit.

Just watched your video on wrinkle painting your valve cover from like 4 years ago, stoked to see you're still going and obviously doing well!

Ets dual muffler(not the extreme) paired with their down pipe is the best. I always get compliments on the sound

ETS with the two little mufflers in the back sounds really good personally have it on my 08 mr

I feel you on upgrading the test pipe. I went with a catless test pipe and it made a marginal difference haha. I myself plan on getting a tomei to truly unlock the sound I want.

definitely go straight for that tomei! I personally have the hks hi-power dual tip cat-back but with a turboxs hfc, etc 3-inch recirc downpipe, aftermarket manifold and big turbo. The hks is sounds and looks great but I personally want a tomei because it really is the best sounding exhaust for the evo x.

I have the HKS dual exhaust mate. I removed the centre silencer and Im happy with it. Tempted to go single exit for more.

@@tonymasters667 I was the same way, never thought I'd do single, but I went for it and honestly, I prefer it. Single exit suits the X so much better. If you really have the extra money you can find a single exit bumper which makes it look sleeker.

Tomei for sure it you want it to be loud AF outside but not crazy loud inside.

Ets dual exhaust would be a good compromise. Tomei is super loud especially with a tubular manifold. I have an ETS quiet with test pipe and tubular manifold and it’s perfect

Check out the Top Speed Pro 1 Titanium catback. It's a little more expensive than most Evo X exhausts but you get a pure titanium dual-exit catback with pure raw aggressive tone/volume. Bonus is the tips come pre-burnt blue too

It definitely sounds better but I think you gotta just send it and upgrade the Cat back. A daily doesn't have to sound tame and mature. That's the voices trying to hamper down the inner child that wants to live wildly!

I have the ETS V3 extreme, ETS test pipe and open dump Downpipe and it’s loud, sounds amazing though

On my ex Evo depo down pipe whit ultimate racing cat back . Sounds amazing

ETS v3 is loud ;). I'm running some kid seat in the back so I got a quieter one than the factory :P a HKS Legmax. I have the same experience with the MR and the SST I love it :D. Treat it right, service it, no LC until the temp is ~70C (get a temp gauge for it or the troquePRO app with the Mitsubishi plugin to read the SST and clutch temp from the ECU/TCU by OBD2).

I knew it would be bro, need an exhaust with less resonator or straight , yeah just like tomei, whatever suits you bro, if you have a daily then go for the louder exhaust but if its your daily it will burn you out.

Go with an ETS V3 extreme exhaust system doesn't disappoint

Get a Tomei exhaust for it my daily is an x and it's pretty loud I absolutely love driving it and you will enjoy it even more 😊

I wanna upgrade my Invidia n1 catback to the Tomei catback myself on my evo personally. I think with the Tomei, you really get that aggressive noise from the 4b11 and what I think sounds more like an evo. I think the setup you have currently sounds great but, I also feel the Tomei could provide a bit better sound, aggressiveness, and overall loudness.

If u want agressive and loud, get the ets v3 extreme, my old setup is like that but now i have tomei just for the silencer reason. I sometimes use it to go to work around 5am lol

Yeah. Personally I think the ets regular sounds the best with the tomei being one or two notches below it in sound but tomei is louder.
