    This not a powermod but it changes the car totally. Get the seat lowering brackets if you use the stock Recaro seat. The improvement in driver position IS MASSIVE!

    Yea man, totally agree with all the mods. ESPECIALLY the tune. The tune on my car when I first got it was for parts on it that were no longer there or back to stock. The tune was way too aggressive. Definitely recommend getting your Evo looked at by a tuner before doing anything just for peace of mind.

    Bingo!! Make sure you have a good foundation! People don’t do maintenance before doing mods. That’s why I take so long finishing my “builds” because I have to replace all wear parts for a peace of mind. Make a video saying what mods are a waste!

    Have had my evo 9 for 3 years and 2 of those years I spent repairing the previous owners mistakes. Currently e85 and build head. From 91 to e85 I gained 100 hp. There is only one gripe I have with you moss and it’s the lower intercooler piping. I think the upper makes a bigger difference than the lower.

    Hey. Wondering if you could point me in the right direction regarding a remote tune. Also you don’t discuss a clutch do you believe the stock clutch will hold that much lower? The car at the moment is: - Evo8 MR - Airtrek block - gsc s1 cams - br8 plugs - fic 850cc injectors - aem 340lph pump - evo 7 ecu - td06 20g turbo - greddy evo 2 exhaust - k&n intake - innovate afr - stock clutch

    I have Volk CE28N black with red lip 18x8.5 with 30mm BS with Toyo R888's wheel/tire set up does make a huge difference. Can you go flex fuel on the stock ECU like STi with the Cobb kit or just E85 map?

  • @ChrisGoorbarry

    @ChrisGoorbarry

    3 жыл бұрын

    Love CE28 you can't go wrong with that setup! and on the evo 8 and 9's people that are usually on flex fuel have a aftermarket ECU. I'm not sure if its something you can do on the stock one. I know for the evo 10 they can do it on the stock one.

    Evo is my dream car but idk how I feel about spending 30+k on a high mileage or low mileage outdated model. I love my 2017 Focus ST (also high mileage but bought brand new in 2017) and losing all the modern creature comforts. Any advice? How do you go about finding oem Parts on the evo’s. As far as the tomei, I have one on my Focus ST and it’s amazing! I love it and it looks like quality.
