    Sick evo 5. Do you know if the evo 8 transfer case and trans would bolt up to the evo 4, 5, 6? I'm looking at options for my evo 4 if something happens to go wrong. Kind of a random question, but I can't find much info about it!

    The trans is basicly the same 4-9 so that will work fine. The t case 7-9 is diffrent and would require a custom front sub frame to use. However it will physicly bolt up to the trans and engine... but wont work with the 4 sub frame.

    what can you do if the ring and pinion teeth are broken on the transfercase?

    How much tq are you making that you destroyed a ring and pinion?

    @@wrenchrampage the car is pushing 326hp i dont have the torque numbers i suppose 300ftlb i would guess. But i bought the car with the teeth sharp and broken.

    ​@@alindo69 i would have to guess that is an abuse thing not a power thing. The ring and pinion arent made anymore. I would replace the whole case, there is no way to know what those fragments damaged. Id look on the used market and yahoo japan. A nice stock undamaged case handles those power levels no issue.
