Having listened to this song so much; I hear it as a self-reflection. The old you made mistakes, let you down and lost relationships but is still a part of you and worth trying to connect and reconcile with even if the memories make you squeeze a little

i love the ambiance and colors u used for this, it reminds me of watercolors on paper which i think is fitting, also the portraits up on the wall that had two of everything (ladybugs, fish, cats) gave me this sadness, like i can picture the waittress hanging those up to remember their old friend, something that gives them equal parts happiness and sadness. this was really good, and i hope one day mitski notices this beautiful work. thank you for putting the time, effort, and creativity to deliver this masterpiece!!

I didn't know about Mitski back than if I have to be honest, and this was the first time I ever heard one of her songs. it hit particularly close to home for me, since at the time I was in love with my best friend. anyway, I loved it right away, and I proceeded to start listening to her music on a daily basis. now it's one of my favourite singers ever, and it's partly because of this video so thank you 🥺🤍🥰 I love your style!
