In the 19 hundreds it was decided, that Denmark had to pay attention to and modernize Greenland, which was a colony at the time. To this day no one lives in their traditional inuit way in Greenland, as far as I know.

So, do you then have to embrace the visitor, or give it a gift to retreat? I'm fascinated with this, and wonder if it has anything to do with the gradual return of the sun? Repealing winter by giving a sacrifice of some sort? Q, this is magical. I'd love this in my country. We have something at New year where a stranger comes to your home with a piece of coal for your fire, shakes the hand of the man of the house, transferring coal dust to them to continue the supply of coal and other fuel. They then kiss the head female of the household who gives them food and drink, the kiss transfers coal dust to her cheek which ensures that next year another stranger will come in with the new year and bestow fuel for the comfort of their home for year. This goes back to days when we cooked over our fires, so a blessing with fuel was appreciated.

This is so scary! What did the kids say? In Germany we have a tradition that Saint Nikolas is accompanied by Knecht Ruprecht, to spank the children who are on the naughty list. Knecht Ruprecht wears a black robe and has a bundle of twigs as a weapon of punishment. When I was 4 I saw one who was also constantly rattling a chain around is belt. It scared me so much, I vividly remember it almost 40 years later.

I'd poop my pants! Especially if i didn't know who it was under the mask. This is like the beginning of a horror movie/Who dunnit! Lol . Everyone is expecting Jonathan to dress like that and go around and pretend to scare the neighbourhood! Then the next morning Sarah turns up dead. Suddenly, everyone realises it wasn't Johnathan in the scary outfit after all, because he was later found drugged and locked in his basement! So... Who the f*ck did we let into our homes? The kilker went into 30 other homes before he killed Sarah! Now Johnathan has died from an OD and hypothermia or something like that, so he can't identify the killer now either. Suddenly, the entire town is in more fear as the year goes but she the killer hasn't been caught and the date that the ritual is due to happen again is fast approaching! Not to mention, the new person chosen to wear the suit, is asking for a police escort on the night! I could go on and on and even write a sequel! Lmao far out my mind is warped.lol

Please don’t miss us, love every second of your life and love your family some more. Especially your husband love last longer than any career. Milow - ayo technology. Why does Jesus have birthdays December 24 and 25? Is Greenlandic culture about Jesus? I don’t see much related to Jesus I see more relation to Greenland. Reality and survival, problems are small but we build them bigger and bigger. There is a reason why you ever would let that guy/girl in.
