I love how they hold each other while they sing. It feels like something sacred between mother and daughter. Of course I'm seeing this as an outsider but it makes me just want to be quiet, like I shouldn't disturb them.

"I'm feely verklempt!" Verklempt, or farklempt comes from old German or Yiddish meaning to be overwhelmed. To hear this Inuit woman use that word is startling and inspiring. Long live social and ethnic expansion! Plus their singing is remarkably beautiful.

Thank you for sharing your culture, passion and heritage with us. Being a Canadian, Roman Catholic and human, I want to express my deepest condolences with regards to how Indigenous peoples have been treated. It is unacceptable. Once again, thank you for sharing your heritage, knowledge and love with us. Truly Beautiful! I have so much to learn from my brothers and sisters and we NEED to learn from you, especially with our environment dying. Sending you lots of love and healing.

I love inuit throat singing but to be fair, the daughter looks pretty passed off with the whole thing! Bit of a shame because this is important culture and her mum should be respected for what she is doing to preserve iit. So many of these wonderful traditions are close to being lost.

If you think of human past, this is one of the first forms of music. Utilizing our vocal cords to enjoy the time as it passes by. The rhythmic breathing can cause endorphins to release in your brain, making the experience euphoric.
