    and before anyone mentions activity LED the Multisystem does not have headers for them so I didn't include in the case.

    i think my only qualm is i'd like to remove the sdcard, but that can be solved by running an extension to the side or rear..

    you guys should sell this case it looks amazing not everyone has a 3d printer. Owner of MisTer Multisystem since 1st batch but still not got a case for it.

    Fascinating video. Don't have a MiSTer or 3D Printer but still found the video very interesting. The beige colour scheme is def much easier on the eyeballs than the garish blue and red scheme.

    I had a very cheap sunlu refill pack of blue pla so used that for most of the final testing and then tried the dual colour as a test to match the blue keycaps that comes with the keyboard.

    @@ezContents I use it quite a lot after I saw the makers muse video. It does work very well with how good prusa slicer can do bridging too.

    Neil and Richard have the files so expect to see some cases soon. I still wish the design of the multisystem had nothing at the front so it could go under the keyboard with all IO at the back. Perhaps something for the future.

    Thanks, I guess my next step is to design my own expansion board for the MiSTer to make it a lot more compact. I have a very basic design for the vga , audio and usb. Then a keyboard that is a lot easier to screw into the case.

    I’m not interested in a getting a Mister as I much prefer using real hardware, but your case design looks great! It’s given me some really good ideas about how to design multi-part cases too.

    I was inspired with the captive nuts from the prusa mk3 I just built. One thing I wanted to change with the design. The base is spit into 4 parts and It would have been nice to have the top back parts not split in the same places as the base to add strength. It was interesting to try to get the captive nuts and bolts to work in thin material too.

    @@leesmithsworkshop I particularly liked the captive nuts, and the way you used the ribbed effect to hide the joints. Combined, they made for an excellent way to build larger structures. I definitely need to start experimenting with them.

    @@Doug_in_NC think about the first layer squish and build it into the design. same for any registration points. You could dial this in with your printer on small tests.

    I need to workout how long it will take to print. I could print quickly if they are a single colour perhaps 1 case a day. The multi colour would be limited to my single prusa and would add a lot of time to print a single case perhaps 1 week.

    @@leesmithsworkshop it's a good winter look, mines needs more work! Very professional job with the wedge case, tho, I made a very basic job with acrylic on my wedge(ish) XTjr as have zero 3D printing skills and equipment. Love that you used recycled filiment too.

    @@mogwaay I remember seeing your wedge xt. My next project will use filament from 3d tomorrow and they offer to accept test prints back as long as it's there own filament as is sorted by colour to be recycled. That is a step in the right direction.

    a fully printed case ? not sure it takes many days to print the multi colour version. I could print a single colour in a day, still a lot to print what would you expect to pay ?

    you can see at 1:39 I have the red and blue case so two that are complete and I worked each part and tested small sections for the details. One of the benefits of printing in many parts.
