    nuvoclassic thanks man. I think it makes a great gift. Wearing mine today in this 90° heat. Much better then a backpack for the essentials.

    can you review the axis vx too?

    johannes wahyudi I wish I got the VX version but I had no idea they’d make a VX when the original was released. If you want to learn more about the fabric, check out my review of VX21. I also review the Fidlock in my Spar VX review. Hope this helps.

    Nice Review! What is the width dimension of the strap?

    Thanks. If by width you mean how thick the strap is at any one point, it's exactly an inch.

    nice detailed review! a nice product, but the price is very high, more than half the price of a 'The Hauser' hydration pack!

    darkmurasame true. In fact, the Spar costs more than the Hauser. I can’t help but think the manufacturing associated with making both products Arkiv compatible drive up the price. The Hauser curiously has no Arkiv capabilities.

    Can you replace the buckle with the cobra buckle?

  • @MissionWorkshopReviews

    @MissionWorkshopReviews

    5 жыл бұрын

    That has been a very popular question. Both ends of the plastic buckle are easily removable. The nylon strap is 1.5" (4cm) so depending on the width of the replacement buckle, an aftermarket buckle can be added on.

    @@MissionWorkshopReviews I just wanted to see if there's a fidlock buckle I can buy to replace the plastic one that came with it. I've actually found a vendor in the UK that sells it.

    Bing N this is above my knowledge. I read that you cannot replace regular compression straps with a Fidlock on a Rhake. Not sure if same is true for Axis. Fidlocks are pretty inexpensive so it may be worth a shot

    Also, is this modular waist pack worth the price if you don't have a MW bag to attach it to?

    RonBalone hmm. So whether or not a $120 waist pack is worth it is subjective. However, it is still very useful even if you don’t have a bag to attach it to. MW sells the Arkiv clips separate so they assumed not everyone who bought it would use it to attach to a bag. Nevertheless it’s a nice feature.
