They spray nicely when you first get them, however I tried several of mine after being on my shelf for about 3 months, and they had the consistency of thick pea soup. Even their brand thinner did not fix the lumpiness.

Thats interesting Eric. I've had no problem with the paint, but have definitely had problems with the Poly additive. I had to throw a nearly full bottle out as it just went all lumpy. Is that what you are experiencing with the paint? Something tells me this stuff is temperature and possibly UV sensitive. When it does work, it works extremely well, but its fussy about how its stored.

They are temperature sensitive. Also I have some that is fairly thick and was able to thin it down with the thinner. I think certain colors and stuff are just naturally thicker. For instance every bottle of grey primer I have had is thick or thicker than other primers and paints.

You can use paint without it, but why not to use benefits of Poly?

@@StaticModel I have heard so much negative about it, that it make it more glossy, and it won't allow chipping. But I don't know and honestly I don't want to pay for it if its not good i rather buy paint for the money.

Basically that's true, it makes paint glossy and adds durability.
