In August of 2019, 15-year-old Nora Quoirin and her family traveled from their home in England to Malaysia for a vacation. The events that unfolded after the family's first night there were life-changing. The unknown elements of this disappearance have created a situation where possible theories run from the conventional to the supernatural.

@@terriseaton3049 Ehh yeah but I'd imagine the jungle at night would be literally terrifying to someone who cannot even understand concepts. I'd expect a lot of confusion about the area would result in immediately feeling the need to run back to her parents for safety. (This would be like if we were dropped onto an alien planet, we'd be scared) You're also ignoring the fact that her feet were in perfect condition & since she could barely walk shed have been falling CONSTANTLY in the jungle, leading to what should've been a very bruised & battered body but again, was in perfect condition. Scent dogs couldn't pick up her track either when she would've been the slowest moving target humanly possible. I think the abduction theory makes the most sense. A white wealthy family targeted by human traffickers. (Only reason I bring up their race is because white woman specifically get targeted by human traffickers in other countries. Look up human trafficking cases on cruises. When they land in other countries they strike & abduct predominantly white woman) Once they realized she had "issues" they realized that it wasnt worth the trouble & ditched her. But they should've at least spared her life by putting her somewhere shed have been immediately found. How heartless to murder someone like that & destroy that family's life over trying to make some money. Its disgusting

It might simply be a mix of the 2. She might've left the house on her own for some reason and got kidnapped while she was outside. That would explain how no one noticed someone entering the house and kidnapping her, and how she got so far into the jungle with her feet intact. The fact that she often went and slept in her parents bed in the middle of the night means she was at least capable of walking short distances, possibly enough to make it outside on her own.

I grew up in Malaysia, and the belief in the Jin is very much part of the culture, and it is believed they guard homes. Also, the lore is that the forest is where a lot of good & bad spirits live, and they will often call out peoples names so they’ll get lost. Very interesting culture, and at times the belief and open acceptance of mysticism and black magic can be quite unnerving.

It was strange that Nora evidently wandered around for 10 days without the search team finding any trace of her, but I don't think she was kidnapped from the chalet. She could have gone to go sleep with her parents, got confused in an unfamiliar house and ended up leaving the chalet. Agreed, it's possible she ran into trouble once outside of the chalet, and though she did have a developmental disorder, its not 100% clear how poor her mobility actually was. However, I do agree that navigating the terrain would have been extremely difficult for anyone, and especially for Nora. I doubt we'll ever know much more than we do already, but the introduction of the shamen really didn't help matters one bit, It just turned an already very confusing case into a circus. There was really nothing to be gained from going down that route. Sad case though, poor little Nora.😔

I saw a comment saying it was potentially a kidnapping but then when the traffickers realised she was disabled, they didn't have the heart to kill her and just abandoned her hoping she would be found and treated as a misadventure. That's why authorities couldn't find her in the same spot the first few days. Nora was probably alive and wandering. The kidnappers also probably did not return her immediately for the fear of getting caught. Abandoning her was the kidnapper's "best" option.

I'm not blaming the parents but as the mother of a developmentally delayed son who is not high functioning I would never take him to such a place. Somebody took that child and then abandoned her when they figured out she was disabled. Maybe they didn't have the heart to kill her outright and thought searchers would find her soon enough. Evil is alive and well in this world and there are some places I'd think twice about taking my child, disabled or not.

When we try to figure out the mentality of the coprets, we tend to think like a human. Maybe what ever took her gets off on watching their victims suffering once they get them out there in the dark. Take the shoes off because they get off watching the person stumble around on bare feet, in the nude. Enjoy watching the anxiety, fear and great foreboding the victim goes through while being kept somehow just out side the searchers calls. After the victim falls for the last time, the sick bastards probably lose interest (like a kid with a magnifying glass) then place them back were the body can be found. Or like Dracula's zombie a human aids in returning the body. But not because they want closure for the family of the victim but more of a "look what I just did." "let's see you figure this out." "I'm so god damn'd sinister!" (You know like gangstalkers think they are so cunning they have completely out witted society?) And the ones that fight during, are probably never found. Here's the part where we go cold stupid as a civilization. It's As if we can't actually handle the truth...a human or humans, in some part, has to be involved. Unfortunately it maybe the ones we trust to do the right thing. We have got to be the most stupidest race of beings, if our so called savior chose the most brutal way possible to get the F away from this place. Tell me I'm wrong, has he been back, since? "Pops I was wrong, one to beam up now please!" And we can avoid that whole cats in the cradle vibe for the future. Oh, I'm so sorry son, it's not quite that easy, you're in the flesh now remember? You gotta kinda do the old age thing to get back, so have fun. But you're numeral Uno daddy-o, you can do anything so get to it, c'mon...beam-ing, beam-ing, beam... "Yes, that is true my son but I put specific rules and guidelines in place." "The heck you say, what abou--- "son no, NO! I couldn't bare it, besides you were sent there to teac---- but DAD, they are complete tools. It's not your fault, You can't fix stupid and they are extremely stuuuuuupid. Remember the one dame that juuust had to look back after being told not to!? Yes, I remember her, strange girl, just can't recall the name. we still puzzle over that to this day." "Yeah, hello, because stuuupid, Daddy-o, stupid conundrum solved. And yes they are all really that stupid here. They worship tares dad, tares!! Wait, but aren't those the ones---- Yes dad. But you've preformed miracles for them son. Yeah but I'm not dancing with the stars or singing about a poker face? Or doing a super bowl, half time twerk--- Dad...don't ask. So set an extra plate big bear, I'll be home by Sunday." They Live... (Gangstalking 101)

In cases like this . Where a child with disabilities go mysteriously missing without a trace. I always think the parents had something to do with it, because after sometime a lot of parents feel that child becomes a burden on their lifestyle and knowing they'll have to take care of that child the rest of their lives. So the only way out is to kill the child and stage an elaborate hoax of a lie. Its just me theorizing here but it's the most logical conclusion I can think of as to why these children go missing with the only witnesses being the parents themselves.

Finally an actual realistic theory. 100% the parents killed her, she can't walk by herself and she trusts no one but her parents, who are the only witnesses apart from her infant sister to her disappearance, yeah guys it must be a kidnapper, kidnapping her from that house without waking anyone would be a miracle, it must be a paranormal thing like a jinn! No that's just coping for lack of an actual explanation. The most logical answer to the question of what happened to Nora is that her own parents either lead her to the jungle themselves and abandoned her or paid someone else to take her and do the same.

Being a wife of a retired detective Sergeant who has worked in kidnappings, violent crimes and murders. He too finds this Nora story ODD. Its basics to detectives the first 2 hours are the most crucial time before they are in deeper fate, untraceable or worse in fatal tragedies. The failures with Nora's care are the investigative start, the language barrier, lack of direction. Why would a teen suddenly have the confidence to go on an adventure just 24hrs after a long flight, she may be awake as jet lag adjusting to time, but its more likely she was Lured to come out, and follow the whispers out to the deep... its odd how the mother mentioned before she was found that Nora was excited to see the waterfall, then 10th day she was found like a sunbathing pose by the waterfall?? Especially when the hundreds volunteers did a thorough, coordinated search, have searched that spot. Someone's been following the news. We will never know as all trace and evidence are tampered with by environmental reasons, or evil reasons..even if within the 24hrs she left for her trails.
