It confuses me how someone could think that anyone "doesn't have a culture". Do you live in a society with other people? Do you have certain clothes that you wear? Music you listen to? Certain etiquette rules you follow? Holidays you celebrate? Congrats, you have a culture. I feel like cultures are like accents. If you don't think you have one that means you've been surrounded by it your whole life so to you it's just how people talk. But you go someplace else and it becomes apparent super fast that you do have one

just came from an older video (2014 miss world) and i could spot a huge difference between these editions: in that miss world they can barely dance but just show a few moves and their big smile in front of the cameras, while in the 2014edition i could see some choreography, i was able to dive into that culture. idk it just feels off...

I have been Irish dancing since I was 4 and have toured with Riverdance and we still wore soft shoes; soft/heavy shoes depend on the dance you are performing not the level you dance at 🤷🏼‍♀️

It is definitely cool that every girl got to show off their countries dance but each one was so short. A lot of them their dances were fast so they could showcase a lot more in a short period of time but for countries like korea, who’s traditional songs and dance tend to be a bit more slower she couldn’t even barely lift an arm before they had to move on to the next one, which is really sad. I do agree that they could’ve picked a faster song and dance than what they did because there definitely are traditional korean songs that are way faster and could’ve shown off more. They really did korea dirty. And for me personally since I love traditional korean music, dance, and everything along those lines as soon as the korean girl walked in with the whole hanbok on I was really excited to see her dance. And as soon as it was her turn and she started walking to the center I was so excited. And then she lifted an arm... and it was the next girls turn. It was pretty disappointing.
