i think the miss U in 1994 was one of the best stage designs in all miss U pageant. the background color changes, the arch was lovely and the clouds were so amazing--they change color too.

i wish Miss universe still have a parade in national costume

Oh have you watched Miss Universe 1993's Opening Song "Viva La Noche"?

can never get tired of this i was in the 7th grade when this aired in the states. if was a big deal for us flips, pinoys and noypis. we all loved charlene and was a clear favorite

With the new management of BInibini Pilipinas, Mr chavit singson, please incorporate this song when the MU will be conducted here in the Philippines

Oh! For what I know, it's Mr. Ryan Cayabyab who compose the song... That is what I remember in the news show TV Patrol in Star News Segment anchored by Miss Tintin Berzola.

Miss Universe 1994 is my first time to watch Miss universe on TV , I was on my 4th grade that time. And indeed this production number for me is one of the best in Miss Universe history! Kudos to the composer and to the one who initiate this idea and concept! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Excited for MUP!!

One of the things I like about MU 1994 was that all the contestants participated and contributed in making the pageant a success. They made the opening great and even sang along with Peabo. Everyone had a voice in this event.

Yes you are right, it was a misspelling of the fingers while at the keyboard I meant 1975 instead of 1973, the pageant in El Salvador was held in 1975 where Miss Finland won and the 1st runner up was Miss Haiti.

This type of production numbers remind me of ASAP. Yung pinagkakasya nila lahat in a small space at kahit yung mga lobby at ibang area ng venue ay kasama sa prod, para magmukhang moving kasi nga maliit ang set. But I have to admit, Wala pa rin tatalo sa ganda ng opening na ito. Iconic song, dance moves na pang beauty queen, and even the small venue made it really really more intimate and you can see that the contestants and the audience are closer and more engaged with the set up.
